Nomoto Yuuya (Also known as Brute Hawk in Current Timeline) is One of the Main Protagonist from the Television Series direct to video Shows of Killing Bites who makes His Debut in Season 1. He also appears and returns in Ongoing KBs Seasons like Season 2 and Isn't it too much, Inaba San?.
He previously lived a relatively normal life as a second-year student studying economics at Jyousai University. However, after accidentally coming across Uzaki Hitomi and learning about Killing Bites, Yuuya's life quickly changed. Nomoto is also a Former Right-Hand Man of Yuugo Tani.
He was forced by her guardian, Shidou Reiichi, to become her investor until the Killing Bites Destroyal. After his task had been completed, Hitomi attempted to assassinate Yuuya per Shidou's orders. Luckily, Yuuya was founded by the Ishida Zaibatsu and managed to survive after undergoing Therianthrope Surgery.
Two years following the legislation of Therianthropes. Yuuya spent his life hiding behind the shadows plotting to exact his revenge on the people who betrayed him. His plans started with becoming Inui Pure and Kuroi Tasuku's investor and training Pure to surpass Hitomi in the next Killing Bites tournament.
He is also voiced by the Japanese Voice Actor, Wataru Hatano who is also known as Gajeel Redfox from Fairy Tail.
Appearance[]
Yuuya is a tall young man with brown eyes and black hair that is slicked back to form a cowlick at the top of his head. His usual attire is a blue long sleeve shirt that is opened while wearing another T-shirt underneath with jeans and sneakers.
Two years later, Yuuya's hair is now straight and sports a gray hoodie on top of a shirt and blue pants. Yuuya's eyes are also noticeably more serious and confident compare to his nervous demeanor in the past. He now has a scar that runs through his right shoulder to his middle abdomen that was inflicted by Hitomi.
Personality[]
Originally, Yuiya was socially awkward and very timid when around people, which made him very easy to be punished around. After Hitomi become parred up with Yuuya for the Killing Bites Destroyale, the Brute found him to be an ideal partner since she knew that he would have no control over her and was free to do whatever she wanted. Throughout his former life, he mainly went with the flow of things rather than rely on making his own decisions, which consequently brought him in the Killing Bites underworld entertainment. However, upon playing the game, along with the time he had spent being around Hitomi, Yuuya managed to gain a little confidence in himself to trust in his own judgement in situations; by his own admission he decided to put his faith in Hitomi to defeat Taiga instead of using his dice roll to have her retreat as Youko suggested. With Hitomi to thank for this new experience, Yuuya came to respect her and was hinted to have developed romantic feelings for her.
Two years after surviving an assassination attempt by the Killing Bites Administration Bureau, Yuuya's personality drastically changed. Unlike his former self who was a meek individual, Yuuya now carries himself as someone who is calm and coposed, and is ussually seen with an easygoing smile on his face. He has also started going about making his own decisions in life. Most incredible, Yuuya is now utterly fearless and courageous. After a member of the bereau threatened him with banishment off the therianthrope island. Yuuya boldly threatened him back with a look of confidence in his eyes. Tasuku also took note firsthand at how remarkably unfazed Yuuya is when it comes to a threats, as she though herself that no normal person could possess the amount of courage Yuuya had. Underneath his outward behavior lies a vengeful individual. Having been forced to hide himself from society due to the influence and power of the Killing Bites Administration Bureau, along with being declared dead, Yuuya harbored anger towards the people who ruined his life and made it his goal in bringing them down. As part of his plan, Yuuya sought to find a Brute that he could train to defeat Hitomi in Killing Bites. Despite being the one that almost killed him, Yuuya did not come to truly hate Hitomi entirely, as he has come to adopt the Ratel's catchphrase as a sign of admiration, and is still shown to care for her well-being upon reuniting with her. His feelings for her have also shown to have not vanished. Since he knew that Reiichi was the one who ordered his disposal, Yuuya instead placed the full blame on him for using Hitomi as a pawn in his plans.
