Yellow Bomberman is a recurring character and one of the antagonists who is turned into one of the main protagonists/antiheroes of the Bomberman series.
Biography[]
Bomberman (TG-16)[]
He appears in Bomberman (TG-16) and Bomberman '93 as a member of the Black Bomberman's gang. Along with Red Bomberman, Blue Bomberman, and Green Bomberman, he aided Black Bomberman in his evil efforts until he was defeated by White Bomberman. Yellow Bomberman fights in the final stage with other Bombermans. He moves quickly and randomly. He will line up side by side with Bomberman and will speed up in his direction as long as Bomberman is in his line of sight. Although he cannot plant bombs, they damage Bomberman when they collide.
Periodically, the Yellow Bomberman stops his movement and turns into a fireball, and in a random direction he fires one or two fireballs, damaging Bomberman and detonating the bomb on impact. While on fire, he is invincible and will detonate a bomb on contact. He will stop after a while and return to his normal form.
Yellow Bomberman can be defeated in 2 hits and is worth 1000 points.
Bomberman '93[]
The Yellow Bomberman fights on the Planet Techo as part of the Black's Cycle Gang, and rides a vehicle that appears to be an early Motor Bomber. He moves quickly and randomly, charges at Bomberman when he spots him, and damages him when he collides with him. Occasionally, he will place mine bombs at his 1 range. He is defeated by his 2 hits and is worth 2000 points.
Super Bomberman R & R2[]
Yellow Bomberman appears as a playable character in Super Bomberman R. He appears briefly during story events and is always depicted with a cheerful demeanor, but is also very naive and innocent to a fault, even putting the group in dangerous positions. He risked his life by offering flowers to the Golem Bomber (who he eventually befriended) and chasing a yellow butterfly (which he called "Mr. Butterfly") on the Planet Timbertree. such there's no reason, like touching a switch on Planet Brainwave's control panel.
