The Conductor is one of the antagonists and also one of the anti-heroes or a deuteragonist in A Hat in Time.
Personality[]
The Conductor has a very vocal and outspoken personality. Most of the time, he is rude and wrathful. He also doesn't care about the safety of the player or others at all, claiming that it's for the sake of filming. Depending on the player's actions in his chapter of the game, at the end of the chapter, he becomes quite narrow-minded, planning to use the Time Piece to fix one loss, and Grooves losing all but one. In the same scenario, he also has a very condescending attitude, stating that Hat Kid has only a small role, even though she relies heavily on his success. However, in another scenario, he tries to help Hat Kid, showing that he is not entirely devoid of empathy. He also cares very deeply about his grandchildren, shown both by affectionately commenting about them in Bon Voyage! and by implying that he was looking for them when they were at nursery in Rock the Boat. He also likes to use the word "peck" and often likes to call people he doesn't like "peck necks".
