Sumeragi Lee Noriega, known as Leesa Kujo, is one of the supporting protagonists appearing in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, she's the tactical forecaster/coordinator and commander of the Ptolemaios crew of the Celestial Being. She commanded the CBS-70 Ptolemaios in season 1, then she commanded the CBS-74 Ptolemaios 2 twice in season 2, and then she also commanded the CBS-742 Ptolemaios 2 Kai in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: -Awakening of the Trailblazer-. She's the girlfriend of Emilio Ribisi, the friend of Kati Mannequin, and the classmate of Billy Katagiri.

Sumeragi has brown eyes and long brown hair, which is cut short in the second season. Between 2307 and 2308 AD, she usually wore a blue sleeveless shirt with her navel exposed and white jeans. After rejoining Celestial Being in 2312 AD, she wears a uniform like the other members, but her top and jacket have a unique purple-ish color
Personality[]
Leesa was a very motivated and confident person. She had her ambition to become a tactical strategist to reduce casualties for her soldiers. Ever since her incident in which she lost her lover Emilio, she had turned into self-loathing and lived her life constantly filled with guilt and alcoholism. By 2307 AD, after joining CB, Sumeragi shined through tactical adjustments. She has developed a self-requirement to do everything perfectly to avoid the mistakes of her past. Even the slightest tactical mistake would affect her. Her will and determination were fragile as she constantly needed to drink to get through the day. Through it all, she still wanted to change the world for the better and wanted Aeolia's vision to come true. Even as her dreams of that girlfriend disappeared and her spirit broke, she continued to run away from her drinking problem. After her CB was defeated in 2308 AD, she became severely depressed and drank heavily every day to cope with her sense of defeat. After her return to CB in 2312 AD, over time she slowly regained her will to fight again, symbolized by her decreased drinking. By the end of the events of 2312 AD, she had overcome her depression and regained her determination to change the world as a stronger person.
