Sorcerimon

Sorcermon is one of the supporting characters in Digimon Frontier.

Appearance[]

Sorcermon looks like a cold and divine version of Wizardmon, shifting its color palette to white and light blue. Its hat lacks the wizard beast's large skull, while its staff is snowflake-shaped compared to the wizard beast's sun, reflecting its water and ice powers.

Personality[]

Sorcermon is the partner of Wizardmon that came from the Digital World called Witchelny in another dimension. He was first introduced as a servant of the demon lord Lucemon. The wizard was sent to the world to retrieve the fractal code, a powerful energy source that made the devil covet. Sorcermon has the power to manipulate time and space, he can teleport himself anywhere he wants.

As the series progresses, Sorcermon is revealed to be more than a simple lackey. He is a formidable opponent who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Sorcermon also proved to be a cunning strategist, often using his manipulative abilities to turn his enemies against each other. He also appears rather arrogant and narcissistic, often underestimating his opponents and overestimating his own abilities.

Overally, Sorcermon is the intriguing and most complex, like the others. A master of magic who uses his powers for selfish purposes, he lives off power and control. His cunning and manipulative nature make him an interesting villain to watch, and his role in the show is crucial to the overall plot.

History[]

Digimon Frontier[]

Sorcermon is Seraphimon's retainer and administrator of Seraphimon's Castle. When the Cherubimon invaded out of control, the magic beast notified the other two celestial digimon of the attack. After Seraphimon fell asleep, Sorcermon guarded the castle from any and all intruders until DigiDestined arrived with the support of Ophanimon and awakened his master. Delighted by Seraphimon's resurrection, Sorcermon set out to help him take back the Digital World until Cherubimon's fallen warriors arrived and attacked. Seraphimon was defeated in the resulting struggle, and though not defeated, the disheartened wizard realized that as long as the Seraphim's Digi-Egg remained free with the DigiDestined, there was still hope. He activated a hidden route and gave his life to buy enough time for DigiDestined to escape. When the Royal Knights began scanning the digital world for battle, his spirit erected a barrier to protect the castle containing the keys to the forest kingdom from harm. When the DigiDestined arrive, Sorcermon opens a hole in the barrier and guides them through Takuya's D-Tector to the key. Facing Dynasmon's ultimate attack, Sorcermon used his last energy to protect DigiDestined and the Key, entrusting them with the future and fading away.
