Sidney "Sid" Chang is one of the minor characters in The Loud House franchise and one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Bobby Santiago) in its spin-off series The Casagrandes. She is the older sister of Adelaide and the best friend of Ronnie Anne.
She is voiced by Leah Mei Gold.
Biography[]
Sid is the new girl in Great Lakes City who moved out to the Casagrande apartment with her family and befriends Ronnie Anne as of the episode "Friended! with the Casagrandes". She likes to help Ronnie Anne with her plans, like having fun, skateboarding and trying new things. She and Ronnie Anne are huge fans of the K-pop band, Twelve Is Midnight. She also has an interest in animals because her mother, Becca, works at the Great Lakes City Zoo.
In the spin-off series, Sid and Ronnie Anne cheers up Adelaide in "Croaked" as they buying her a new frog named Froggy 2 to make up for the death of Froggy. In "The Two of Clubs", she creates her own robot named Breakfast Bot. In "The Horror-Scope", Sid has now two friends of Ronnie Anne and Lincoln which she heard a lot about him. As of the episode "Team Effort", she successfully knows how to skateboarding, thanks to Ronnie Anne who trained her.
In the second season, Sid and Ronnie Anne are in charge to look after the eggs in "No Egrets" while the mother egret is ill which the baby egrets named Yoon and Kwan. In "Zoo-mergency!", Sid and her family work together to do a fundraiser in order to save the Great Lakes City Zoo, followed by in "Throwing Pains" where she and her friends battle against the dodgeball team.
In the third season, Sid and Adelaide work together to save the Great Lakes City from the Han Family Bandits in "Bunstoppable" while she and Breakfast Bot makes the bao for them. In "Race Against the Machine", she and Ronnie Anne also work together to save the human conductors from Mr. Vanderspeed's plot. However, in Kick Some Bot, Sid meet Lincoln's sister, Lisa, along with Todd for the first time at the robotics competition.
Personality[]
Sid is a cheerful, optimistic and sweet girl who likes to try out everything at the city. She enjoys to do various activities, like eating hotdogs for breakfast and skateboarding, but not being good at it until in "Team Effort". She is also supportive of Ronnie Anne as she spend time with her.
Appearance[]
Sid is a light-skinned half-Asian girl with long brunette hair, two pairs of eyelashes (none in the pre-Casagrandes era), and freckles. She wears a blue long-sleeved shirt revealing her shoulders, black shorts, pink headband, white earrings, red socks, and black knee-high sneaker boots. In "Face the Music with the Casagrandes", it is revealed that she has bunions on her feet.
