Shisui Amamiya is one of the supporting characters in Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena, Taimanin RPGX, Action Taimanin, & Taimanin GOGO!. She's is one of the Energy Art Taimanins and the member of Taimanin Task Force.
Appearance[]
Shisui has white hair and pink eyes, she wears a white leotard-like combat uniform, long black boots, and a black open jacket.
Personality[]
Shisui is a calm and quiet girl who spends most of her time reading books in silence. Shisui is a man of few words, and she has no interest in fighting or relentless training, but while she is naturally curious, she is accustomed to seeing the world from a distance, and as a result, she is interested in history, excited about culture, new knowledge, and the larger world.
Many consider Shisui to be a monster due to her strength, she has been isolated for most of her life and now gains most of her knowledge only from her books and has little to no social skills. She wants to experience the world on her own. She has lost confidence in her ability to interact with people and find herself in social situations, and worries that even if she does make friends, they will no longer be of any use to her or that she will be abandoned. That's what she's afraid of.
Shisui can be playful, but she doesn't express her emotions much, so people sometimes have a hard time realizing that she was joking. When she tells her lie, she moves her lips slightly, but Kotaro notices it.
She is naive and tends to be fooled, especially by naughty peoples like Lilim, but she is also close friends with her and Minasaki in all timelines, and is fooled simply because she enjoys spending time with them. In all timelines, she is best friends with Kotaro Fuuma and is treated as a member of her family, and Kotaro treats her like a younger sister, as close as Tokiko. Although she sometimes wishes there was more, she is hesitant to voice her feelings, and she realizes that her other love rivals also have a hard time getting really close to Kotaro.
Shisui considers herself Kotaro's protector, and her belief in that only increased after the reset, where her own memories remain, but she was turned into a ghost. From this point on, Shisui believes that her fate and that of Kotaro are connected, and that it is her important duty to protect Kotaro. Resist sharing even details about themselves. She also hates being called a ghost and is sometimes very sad that most of her friends don't remember her, even though she tries to hide it.
She makes a friend named Koro Shishimura and is able to survive thanks to her body possession technique. Koro trusts Shisui with her body, but she thinks Shisui wants to find an alternative to hers.
She becomes emotionally shaken when it is suggested that Kotaro may have manipulated her into joining him, stating that if she had been locked up and isolated for so long, someone "now" would be able to tell Shisui. He was fatally furious that Shisui's side was taken by somebody. Although, Kotaro tries to overcome his feelings of loss after her injury, he still thinks of her occasionally and is reminded of his own failures as a leader to protect her.
History[]
A Taimanin and bookworm of Gosha Village. Her family served as one of the Fuuma clan's lesser supporters, of the Amamiya clan.
She is the clan head and if older traditions were kept she would have been Fuuma Kotaro's retainer before before the laws had changed to a side branch, in which Fuuma Saika and Fuuma Tokiko belong in.
Shisui became known as the most powerful Fuuma thanks to her Ninja Art, Wave Art, that could absorb the nature energy in an area, granting her powers beyond most demon nobles. Able to summon a powerful guardian, she was able to become more powerful if an area contained larger amounts of natural energy. However, regardless of her strength she did not serve in the Fuuma Revolt, year 2068, and remained neutral to the conflict. Only ignored by Danjo for these actions because he feared her strength as well, after Danjo's defeat she chose to remain in Gosha Village, but struggled to make friends and became isolated.
She was often ignored by her teammates, which knew of her power but not how to befriend her, they would often not even support Shisui if she had trouble in combat and just observe from the distance. Disliked as one of the former Fuuma she became very isolated. As one of the last remaining of her family.
Unlike with other characters, Shisui's backstory is continued from the TABA timeline to either the RPGX or Action timeline, as her memories of these prior timelines remained and she became a specter. In all timelines in which Shisui exists as a specter, no "living version" of her ever existed.
Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena[]
Played in her childhood with both Fuuma Kotaro (TABA) and Fuuma Tokiko but the Amaniya family remained neutral under her and did not support Danjo, she was also unwilling to leave with his Fuuma Danjo Loyalists and remained in Gosha. Shisui has refused any call for action since then and worked only for Gosha. In her "What If" scenes, a past event is seen, in which she faught an High Ghoul but her teammates did not help her out. She had suffered some abuse by the beast but was able to recover and slay it on her own.
Shisui's stayed in Gosha and went to Gosha Academy but was disliked and treated like an outcast as her power was able to even kill noble demons without issues. Even as Fuuma Kotaro (TABA) formed the Fuuma Organization, year 2082, she remained neutral.
After Danjo's death by Fuuma Kotaro's hand, he became a target of Nomad. Fürst, kidnapped his Sakura (ZERO), and Kotaro worked on a counter measure to his ability to flee and resist most damage. Kotaro went to Gosha Village, in the year 2085, and asked Shisui to join him. Unlike some members, which unwantingly joined Kotaro, Shisui was not forced and instead requested to help with the situation and defeat Fürst. Shisui at first flat out refused and threatened Kotaro with her powerful "Guardian" a being created from her Ninja Art. However, was intrigued by Kotaro's proposal to learn more about the outside world and agreed to at least help until the defeat of Fürst. Saying to Asagi a bit later, that she would protect Kotaro for a bit of time and not to worry.
Unlike many other members, she joined Fuuma Kotaro's Fuuma Organization without any big fight or need for discipline. Feeling boxed in the village, she joined willingly and was treated more like a little sister of Kotaro, that saw more privileges. Shisui joined Lilim and Minasaki in minor pranks, but nobody could get mad at her. She enjoyed a lot of freedoms within the Fuuma Organization but also helped in multiple fights, as she viewed the people in the group as friends and family. After Kotaro, placed a "GPS-like" spell on the fleeing Fürst, Shisui took him on alone and beat him to death, even if a small part of his soul lingered on. She afterward asked Kotaro if she was allowed to stay a bit longer, as she enjoyed her time with the group, and was allowed.
In a rather important event in the year 2086, Felicia sets up a trap, in a skyscraper Nomad base, for Kotaro, as she is bothered by Black giving him that much attention. Minasaki and Lilim are tricked by Felicia to play a game in one of Nomad's bases, though they are none the wiser, Kotaro, Fuuma Tokiko and Shisui arrive to tsave them. Saving, them they fight their way to the top and fight Felicia. Shisui is able to beat down Felicia, using her guardian in creative ways but Felicia's ability to regenerate is much higher but before the fight continues, Black arrives. Black agrees to a final confrontation later on between Nomad and the Fuuma Organization, before ordering Felicia to pull back. However, as they leave Felcia uses a sneak attack on Kotaro, which Shisui blocked with her body. The wounds, on Shisui are very grave and with other demons around the area, Kotaro is unable to recover her. As Minasaki and Lilim, walk away from the skyscraper, Minasaki is unable to feel Shisui's presence anymore, but both leave convincing themselves that they would remain a trio not grasping the full situation.
At that moment Igawa Asagi arrives, with Hoshino Mitsuki, Shimotsuki Moeka and Imaru Kei. Asagi kills the demons, and gets her medical crew to take in Shisui. While Kotaro, catches himself wanting to take Shisui herself, Tokiko states they currently unable to recover let alone safe Shisui's life. Asagi, states that for now, she will take Shisui and see what can be done. Mitsuki, attacks Kotaro out of frustration, pressuming he had brainwashed or blackmailed Shisui, something that he rejects as he would have never done so to Shisui. Yelling out, that she had been made an outcast by the Taimanin for her strength. Kotaro, which used Shisui's guardian at the time, was able to defend himself and the parties split, with Asagi giving Mitsuki the order to stand down.
At this point, it is strongly suggested that Shisui either had "died" or as a later event stated was unconscious ever since being taken in by Gosha Village.
As the final battle with Black begins, a few monath later, the Fuuma Organization attacks the Palace of Darkness, as Kotaro had been captured. At this point Fuuma Tokiko is attacked by slightly regenerated Fürst. However, before Fürst can kill Tokiko, the Guardian of Shisui reformed, with her voice stating she will protect Fuuma and her friends, before killing Fürst for good. However, Tokiko is unable to hear her words. It can be assumed that either Shisui had become a spirit at this point, or had "astral projected with the help of her Ninja Art".
In either case she witnessed the final fight between Edwin Black and Fuuma Kotaro (TABA), with her words reaching Kotaro at some point. As Black used his ability and caused the TABA Reset, this had long-running consequences. For the timelines of AT and RPGX. As new worlds are formed, she is one of the few not seen at first. She had become a "ghost-like specter" now bound to Gosha Library and the new Fuuma Kotaro. Unlike other reincarnated people, she retained the memories of the timeline.
Taimanin RPGX[]
Now a Ghost-like specter. For her, the TABA timeline is relevant. Her memories of the TABA timeline remained intact. While nobody remembers a Amaiya Shisui existing in this timeline, she had always been there from the day of Kotaro's birth just as she was after the TABA reset but was not able to interact with him for years.
She is in fact the same Shisui she was in the TABA timeline, either the result of her leaving her body before the TABA Reset or proximity in spirit in the final confrontation. Unlike other characters, she remembers the old timeline of TABA and dreams of the events. While not manifested, she describes her state as dreaming or seeing things vaguely. She has not been simply remade like other characters, but only exists as a ghost-like being within Kotaro or near Kotaro at times. Originally, she was only able to manifest in Gosha Library.
She met Kotaro for the first time, when he was around the age of 12, Kotaro became a target of the disguised Edwin Black (RPGX) calling himself Kuroto. Black knowing that a part of his powers had become part of Kotaro saw him as being to risky to stay alive or remain in the village to be taken by other forces. However, much to even Black's suprise Shisui appeared and used her Guardian to protect Kotoaro. While Fuuma Aki also appeared and fought against the summoned creature of "Kuroto" she was unable to see Shisui, Kotaro himself was able to remember that girls name but could not recall their past together.
As Kotaro, became the leader of the Independent Rangers in year 2082, Shisui remained distant. However, starting in year 2083, as Kotaro, and others got lost in Gosha Library, she helped him out to find the way. At another event "Kuroto" attacked Fuuma Kotaro again, and just like last time Shisui reformed, but this time Kotaro was able to remember more details of the former world, at least that she had sacrificed herself for him and how he failed in his fight against Black. As the fight against Black continued, Euryale and other members of the Independent Commando Unit joined the fight, and they were able to force Kuroto to leave.
As Kotaro remembers Shisui, he seeks way to help her interact with the world and Shishimura Koro is also able to move Shisui's soul to her own body and enables Shisui to exist outside the Library in later events. As Kotaro learns to take her into his body or allows her with the help of Shishimura Koro to take form, she also joins him in some minor events.
In what if events, she willingly becomes a slave and receive training in order to save her summoned guardian. After spending weeks in a modification capsule to heighten sensitivity and erotic training with a Bakan (horseman), she was delivered to Fuuma per agreement prior to her breaking.
Shisui helped to lead Juno to victory in a contest against Dakini, in June 2087, and is again summoned by Koro taking over her body.
When Fuuma Kotaro and Shojo Hatsumi, visited the Gosha Library, Kotaro disgused the topic of the past world frustrated he could not remember her. As Shisui cuddled up to him, he asked if they had been lovers in the past world, which she agreed in a teasing tone. However, Kotaro noticed that she was lying and Shisui began to sulk and correct herself, that she was not a lover but more like the other girls around Kotaro (like Yukikaze or Kurenai). Confused, what she meant, Kotaro's attention was taken up by Hatsumi, with a new quest, as Shisui called him out for being insensitive. Kotaro asked if he was allowed to leave, with Shisui agreeing, telling him to be careful, reminding him that their fate was connected.
Action Taimanin[]
Now a Ghost-like specter. For her, the TABA timeline is relevant. Her memories of the TABA timeline remained intact. While nobody remembers a Amaiya Shisui existing in this timeline, she had always been there from the day of Kotaro's birth just as she was after the TABA reset but was not able to interact with him for years.
Just like in the RPGX timeline, she is one of the few people that remembers the TABA timeline. She is a mysterious girl, often seen in Gosha Library but outside of it can only be seen by a few characters, including Fuuma Kotaro. Shishimura Koro, can help her, by using the Soul Art, which allows Shisui to take over Koro's body and take physical form.
She is in fact the same Shisui she was in the TABA timeline, either the result of her leaving her body before the TABA Reset or proximity in spirit in the final confrontation. Her first encounter, with Fuuma Kotaro in this timeline, was the result of her wanting to see Lilim and Minasaki. Though, she did not reveal, she had been friends with them in the past world. As Kotaro tried to stop, the duo from scamming Shisui. She smiled and asked Kotaro to forgive them, addressing him later like she used to as "Master". Which confused Kotaro, which is not aware of the former world, in this timeline.
Shisui later obtained, access to an Exoskeleton of Mekamura Uraru, which she could use without the need for a body.
Taimanin GOGO![]
Appears in the game and assists with power ups, shares still some ghostly effects.
She can be seen by Oma Shinobu but inside the story both never interact and the details are unknown.

Powers/Abilities[]
Main Weapon: Fists and Guardian
- Ninja Art: "Wave Art" a very rare ninja art that materializes the natural energy into the visage of the Guardian, which she can manipulate as she sees fit. This metal-like spirit being fights with its fists or is able to shoot natural energy.
- Her wave Art interference with certain abilities and is able to travel though any medium. Can be used for example to "punch water" and destroy a ship miles away. As she takes in energy and controls it, she is not really limited by her own stamina.
- It can absorb the natural energy of the "land", for example "geothermal energy" and is able to even defeat noble demons, which gain their strength from the same source. The power can also be used to absorb the energy of an entire area.
- Shisui was able to seperate her soul from her comatose body in TABA, the Guardian at this point was able to interact and destroy the soul of an enemy. However, this pushed her to the limit of her ability and life.
- Spiritual Form: The current Shisui is something alike to a spirit and requires the help of "Soul or Spirit Art" users, like Shishimura Koro. Usable past the TABA Reset, during which Shisui had been seperated from her body. Now this spiritual form is active at all times in RPGX and AT, with no real body to return to. She can take a stronger form in Gosha Library.

- Particle Control: Taimanin are able to manipulate Taima Particles to enhance their physical strength, speed and defense. The particles are also used to counter demonic influences and strengthen damage to demons.
Trivia[]
- She is considered as the strongest Fuuma clan member thanks to her Ninja Art and is feared even by Fuuma Danjo. She has no evil eye ability like most Fuuma clan members.
- She is the clan head of the Amamiya clan. It is unknown how the situation is in RPGX and AT.
- She appears in Taimanin GOGO and grands two options for a health power up.
- TABA is unclear if she could be considered dead. She behaved like a spirit in the last encounter but is noted as "unconscious", with other character acting like she had died. Regardless because of Shisui's dual dead and alive state, and at least presence during the final fight against Black as a soul. She kept her memory.
- When Kotaro used her power against Astaroth in TABA, he was able to cause serious damage as he absorbed the heat energy from the Burning Plains. Because of this Astaroth promised to protect him from now on in TABA.
- Shuisui's style of battle is notoriously destructive.
- Shisui states that the only person that survived her guardian's attack would be Yatsu Murasaki.
- Outside the obvious connection between her and Shishimura Koro, which makes it possible for Shisui to exist in the RPGX and AT timeline. Both are drawn by the same artist.
- As she used to play as a small child together with Kotaro and Tokiko, in the TABA timeline, she should be around the age of Kotaro in the TABA timeline. Putting her at the mid to late 20s.
- Viewing her age as such becomes harder for RPGX and AT, as unlike other characters she has not been "reincarnated". She would be in a way at least as old if not much older in RPGX/AT. In truth even holder, as she was with the new born Kotaro from the start and never visually aged.
- Her height here is visually approximated from her model in Action Taimanin, compared to other models, with known character heights.
- Her fighting style is clearly based off of Jotaro.
