Shinigami is the deuteragonist of the 2023 adventure game Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, she is the grim reaper who possesses Yuma Kokohead and her powers allow him to gain access to the Mystery Labyrinth.
Appearance[]
Outside of the Mystery Labyrinth, Shinigami takes the form of a purple, wispy cartoonish spirit with two horns. Her eyes in this form are completely white and oval. She wears a simple crown with a pink ornament in her center.
Personality[]
Shinigami usually appears in the form of a spirit, and can only be seen by Yuma, is always floating and swaying beside Yuma. Although he is cheerful and talkative, the Shinigami's ethics are far removed from those of humans. Her behavior sometimes confuses Yuma.
Biography[]
Shinigami was sealed in the Book of the Dead and made a deal with Yuma Kokohead, made a promise to mentoring him how to become an excellent detective in trading for all of his memories.
