Setsuna Shimazaki, known as Yuna Shimazaki, is one of the main protagonists of the series Re:Creators. She's the creator of Altair and a friend of Sōta Mizushino, who committed suicide after being run over by a train.

In episode 11, Sōta Mizushino reveals to his friends that he knew Yuna and that they were friends. Sōta adds that he was the one who killed her. Yuna and Sōta met online after she commented on one of Sota's paintings, and they continued to exchange emails and correspond as they liked each other's work. In the end, Setsuna invites Sōta to go with her to an off-line party in a small garden, and the two meet in the real world at a station. At the event, Sōta and Yuna went up to the second floor of the building to get a better look at the live drawings. When Yuna almost falls trying to get a better look, Sōta saves her up. However, in the process Yuna lost her glasses, so Sōta offered her to use her own glasses. Sōta continued to tell her friends that he continued to talk to Yuna after that, and Yuna continued to post new pictures of her. Eventually, Yuna became popular on the site and was recognized as an up-and-coming artist. Yuna sends Sōta an email saying that she will be making a video with famous producer Shimajima-san and she is nervous because she is a big fan of Shimajima-san. Souta felt that there was a distance between them, so he stopped contacting her. After that, Yuna was accused of plagiarism in an online news article and received a lot of criticism on message boards.
