Rinka Shido is a supporting antagonists-turned-one of the supporting deuteragonists of Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena, Taimanin RPGX, & Action Taimanin. She's a qualified Taimanin and one of the Mist Art Taimanins.
Appearance[]
Rinko has long white hair and blue eyes, her Taimanin oufit is black, grey, white and silver with gold lines.
Personality[]
Rinka is Rinko Akiyama's childhood friend and is known for being extremely talented. She has a lot of pride and is abusive, but this is the result of her high skill. Rinka is cautious but merciless in battle, and sometimes has a little flirtation with him. She can get emotional and yell at people when necessary.
Rinka's hobby is making flower arrangements in her free time, and she is also a friend of Ibuki Tsushima.
History[]
Rinka is a member of both the Shido clan and Fuuma clan. She is an elite student at Gosha Academy, and because of their friendship with Rinko, she is also called The Double Rin of the Taimanin. She is attracting attention as an ace among the new Taimanin students, and her name recognition is high. Rinka is the granddaughter of Yoriko Shido, a member of the Shido clan of the Eight Generals of the Fuuma who fight alongside the Fuuma clan. However, after Yoriko died of illness, his son, Shido Jonochi, joined Gosha Village against the Fuuma rebellion in 2068, leaving his family, which was wealthier than most of the Fuuma clan.
In contrast to Rinko, Rinka is sometimes referred to as Demon Fist or Demon Armed Taimanin.
Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena[]
When the Fuuma Organization was formed in 2082, she continued to oppose the new successor.
In 2083, she was doing an undercover investigation as a bodyguard for Hirai, a government official in Amahara City, but she was discovered by Kotaro. After gathering information about masked Taimanin and Alberta, Kotaro chooses her as his next target. Knowing of her ability to turn her hands into smoke, she is tricked and her limbs are frozen and amputated. Tokiko took on the responsibility of transporting the new captured items. Soon Rin Uehara, another elite Taimanin, appears and she attempts to rescue Rinka, but she loses track of Tokiko and Kotaro.
Rinka does not appear after this event, she is kept as one of Kotaro's sex slaves, thereby giving Kotaro complete control of her prosthetic leg.
In 2085, when Kotaro scouts Shisui Amamiya and confronts the masked Taimanin and Asagi, he later fights Furst without being hindered by them as a demonstration of his power. Kotaro also returned Maika Kamimura and Rinka Shido to Gosha as a sign of sincerity. At this point, Rinka has been unseen, but she has probably returned to her regular duty.
Taimanin RPGX[]
Since Rinka is not in conflict with Kotaro, she joins the Independent Rangers formed in 2082. She has a less hostile relationship with Kotaro.
Rinka made her first appearance in 2083, during a mission related to Saya NEO. She is mentioned years later in Ibuki Murakumo's biography as the person who inspired her to stop being afraid of her art.
Action Taimanin[]
Rinka joined Taimanin Task Force with Rinko in 2082 as a supporter and has a much less hostile interaction with Kotaro.
Power & Abilities[]
Main Weapon: Knuckle-dusters
- Ninja Art: "Smoke Art" and "Purple Haze", she can vaporize parts of her body and create flying fists of purple smoke that can shatter metal. Her area is 30 meters.
- Particle Control: Taimanin can manipulate anti-magic particles to enhance their physical strength, speed, and defense. Particles are also used to counter demonic influence and enhance damage to demons.
