Rin, also known as Suzune, is an antagonist-turned-anti-hero from the Senran Kagura series. She made her entrance in Senran Kagura Burst.
Appearance[]
The Hebijo's teacher was tall and seemed to always wear glasses at school. When Rin teaches, she wears a tight black skirt with black paisley trim and black stockings. She also wears a classy white dress shirt with long sleeves that exposes much of her bust. She is wearing a black camisole underneath.
When she transforms, she wears a tight-fitting sleeveless shirt and begins to expose her stomach leading to the part that covers her nose and mouth. Around her neck is a red triangular scarf with a white triangular mark and a white dot inside the triangle. She also wears baggy red pants and knee-length black high-top sandals, with a gray cloth wrapped around her waist. Black panties are exposed under the cloth and panties.
Personality[]
Rin, a teacher and ninja, is a calm and collected woman who doesn't show much emotion among her friends. She was once almost killed by a demon, and she has a lot of wisdom when it comes to fighting demons. However, she reveals her feelings towards the Hebijo Elites, the Crimson Squad, the Hanzō Academy, Kiriya and Daidōji.
Rin uses the word "mercy'' to brutally train students without any remorse for their safety, except in cases where a limb is offered, such as when fighting demons or shinobi who are far beyond the student's level. She was known for her disbelief. But in her book, sprinting through 300 hours of water and country miles is child's play.
Background[]
Rin is a former student of Hanzō Academy, and her ability is comparable to Daidōji's. She trained hard to fulfill her dream of becoming what is known as a super ninja. However, she wasn't really planning on graduating, as she was "saved" by Kiriya, who took out the dummy that had sneaked up on her during her exams.
An incident in which she was thought to have died caused her to decide to leave Hanzō Academy, and she reappears as Suzune, a teacher of Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy.
After graduating from Hanzō Academy, she is ordered by the state to undertake a serious and dangerous mission and is sent to a cave by the sea. A team of talented ninjas is sent along with Kagura to defeat the demons, but it only takes a few minutes for the monsters to wipe out the entire team, leaving Rin as the only survivor. A team of evil ninjas is dispatched and all the demons are slaughtered, but Rin's young arrogance is shattered by the defeat and all she can do is cry while she recovers in the hospital.
During her recovery, she was determined not to return as a failure of Hanzō Academy, and luckily Miyabi's father, the chairman of Hebijo Academy, offered her a teaching position at Hebijo Academy. Although Rin told her of her origins as a good ninja, she had the Hebijo Academy's credo, "Good accepts the few, evil accepts all," etched in her mind.
