Rain (Real Name: Zeffeero Delgado-Richardson) is one of the major former antagonists from the television series direct to video shows of Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm who appears in episode 4. That is all the lore he gets that and he has an only look in the Episode so far.
He is a Water Unit who is a former member of Outworld as of Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung and is One of the Ninjas in the Histories the Others was Scorpion, Komodai and Oniro. Rain is also a Childhood Friend of Kitana who dates Liu Kang.
He was voiced by Rino Romano.
Synopsis[]
But in the Scrapped second season on episode 10, Rain continues to fight on the side of evil due to his brainwashed state, and after his brainwashed state disappears, he starts to have memories of him being stolen away from his family and saw his parents killed by Shao Kahn, he spares the Earthrealm warriors and doesn't kill them which frustrates Shao Kahn then he and The Forces of Darkness turned on him and replaced him with Sindel as Shao Kahn's new general, and he ultimately redeems himself, later apologizes to Kitana and exposes his real name as Zeffeero Delgado-Richardson, and he and the heroes embark on a mission to get revenge on Shao Kahn and The Forces of Darkness, once Shao Kahn and The Forces of Darkness are defeated, Rain has finally ended this menace, avenged King Jerrod's death and brought peace to Earthrealm and Edenia once and for all.
