Rachel Newman is the main protagonist villain of second movie American Psycho 2, Rachel is a criminal student psychology whose true name is never revealed, as she often appears and she is the main character of the film.
She was portrayed by Mila Kunis, who also portrayed Jackie Burkhart in That '70s Show, Meg Griffin in Family Guy, Dora the Explorer in Robot Chicken, Solara in The Book of Eli, and Jupiter Jones in Jupiter Ascending.
History[]
Rachel was a twelve-year-old girl who was with babysitter, she was allegedly approached by serial killer Patrick Baterman who tied them up while she was forced to watch Patrick torture and kill her nanny, she then broke loose and killed Patrick went though. At age 18, Rachel then became a college student who wanted to become an FBI agent to prevent serial killers from harm to American citizens. She is an agent of the FBI, she has to if the first one is recognized by its professor of social sciencies and social body, Robert Starkman, she also refuses the failure since she also has a great potential and an intelligence to above average. She also has three obstacles, Brian Leeds a spoiled, arrogant, conceited and not very intelligent, Cassandra Brair, Rachel's only friend who is guaranteed position for having an affair with Starkman and Keith Lawson a young student the only one who intellect resembles. After being informed that she is very young for the post by Mr. Fleck, a rude snobby secretary, then the murderer goes to her house and kills her with one of her trophies after beating her to death, this is not known that Rachel or Brian, Rachel then seduces Brian and makes him drunk, she then spoils him to death killing him. After being disowned by Keith in class, Rachel kills him with stab in the head, but not before his work and admires his talent. Then after Rachel kills Cassandra and makes it seen like it was a suicide.
In a session with her school psychiatrist, Rachel frightens him and the text book sociopath with Starkman sad with the death of Cassandra he left his job, Rachel then enraged goes where he is and tries to seduce him and get the position, Rachel pretends she is obsessed with him, Rachel then does Starkman falls in the window until his death. Rachel was spotted by her parents on her mother's bithday while Rachel was fantasizing about her boring mother's death, Eric came to the restaurant and was terrified of Rachel seeing her thinking that the identify of the text book sociopath was Cassandra who had committing suicide.
After Eric called Rachel Newman in front of her parents she was scared, Rachel later left with a corpse, then Eric and the cops chased to catch her, she then framed the police more however the cars exploded and Rachel was declared dead.
Eric later wrote a book about her and gave a lecture until, Eric made a signature and was terrified when Rachel (fake) got his signature since the corpse found in the car was from the real Rachel Newman that she had killed and taken his identify, she now by the name of Elizabeth McGuire had a new life and could live as her new life as an FBI agent.
Personality[]
Rachael began as an ordinary child and was scared of Bateman as he killed her babysitter. However, after freeing herself, something in her snapped and she killed him in a self proclaimed act of heroism. Since that moment, Rachael dedicated her life to helping America track down and stop murderers and became utterly obsessed with realizing this goal. She was going to achieve her dream of being an FBI agent and protecting the world and would destroy anything, or anyone, who stood in her way. However, in actuality, Rachael was only desiring simply because she felt that she alone was the most qualified. Her goal of becoming a FBI agent was merely one of the few instances where she wanted to stroke her massive ego.
Rachael seemed to be on somewhat friendly terms with Cassandra, but did not hesitate to kill her when the need arose. She even stole Cassandra's dress and necklace after the murder, the latter of which she gave to her mother as a birthday gift. Rachael also proved to possess a talent for causing people severe mental suffering whilst appearing to be talking nicely to them. Even her college psychiatrist and professor, the latter of whom was a former FBI agent, were rattled by her.
It is unknown if Rachael's killing spree ended with her success as an FBI agent, or if her crimes were ever traced back to her.

Trivia[]
- In the movie there are two possible nods to the 1983 slasher film Curtains, more specifically its killer.
- In the movie poster, Rachael is pictured holding a sickle, even though she doesn't ever use one.
- When talking to Eric, Rachael says "Have you ever wanted something so badly, that you'd do anything for it?".
- The film was critically panned partially for having little association with American Psycho, as it was initially an unrelated script modified by Lionsgate for it to be tenuously linked to the first film due to the latter's acclaim and moderate commercial success; as such, Rachael Newman's character is not canonical to American Psycho, and Patrick Bateman's death as confirmed by the author is quite different.
