Punguari is the tertiary antagonist-turned-supporting character of Netflix/Nickelodeon's 50th full-length animated film The Casagrandes Movie.
She is a 12,800 year-old demigod and a daughter of Sisiki and Chipiri who wants to become a full-fledged god, but she is too young to become it. She used to be a temporarily villainess, but later she redeems to help the Casagrandes defeat Ucumu and save Mexico. She is also Ronnie Anne's friend and former arch-enemy.
She was voiced by Paulina Chávez.

800 years ago during the New Fire ceremony, Punguari lives in Mexico with her two god parents (Chipiri and Sisiki) and gets jealous of them being honoured by the humans in every festival. She impatiently wants to become a full god when she's mature enough, but her mother wouldn't let her because she wasn't bigger enough for that due to her mischievous nature and lack of responsibility which there can be disastrous repercussions.
Punguari congratulates her father for the festival and secretly steal her father's staff from behind his back while hugging him. She uses her father's staff to get an artifact called the Mask of Many Faces which has the power to transform herself into a full god. Upon putting on the mask, Punguari uses voodoo magic to command the mask to make her a full-fledged god, but her actions caused the earth below her and start cracking while putting the Mexican people's lives in danger.
While Chipiri protects the people, Sisiki demands her daughter to stop, but Punguari doesn't listen to her. To make worse, Ucumu rised from the cracks to the surface and prepares to attack the gods. Sisiki protects her daughter from Ucumu, but turns Punguari into a mountain and the loss of her fallen daughter after attempting to change Punguari's heart before it was too late. With Punguari safely imprisoned as punishment, Chipiri and Sisiki work together in attempting to banish Ucumu back to the underworld, but gets trapped in the gems under Ucumu's clutches. After the chaos, Mexico was saved from Ucumu's brief tyranny and the mountain is officially named after the young doomed demigoddess.

8 Centuries later, Ronnie Anne decides to skateboard down the mountain Punguari transformed into, but a necklace she bought earlier releases Punguari and disguises herself as a 12-year-old girl named Shara. After Ronnie Anne defies her mother Maria, Shara convinces Ronnie Anne to help her find the Mask of Many Faces at the museum. After obtaining the mask, Punguari reveals her true form and traps Ronnie Anne in the artifact room, leaving Ronnie Anne heartbroken over her new best friend betrays her.
After Ronnie Anne being rescued by Maria, Rosa and Lupe, she discovers a scroll which tells the story of Punguari where due to Punguari's reckless actions and she unleashes Ucumu from the underworld. Meanwhile, Punguari transforms herself into a full god again and uses her new powers to create her own palace so she can conquer Mexico, causing the ocean to recede and the Earth starts to crack.
Arriving to Punguari's palace, Ronnie Anne reveals to Punguari that her story is wrong. At first, she thought her petrification by Sisiki was out of punishment, but it's only to protect her as her actions caused Ucumu to rise and start attacking everyone to rampage through Mexico. Learning the truth, Punguari feels guilty over her parents sacrificed themselves for her and then she has a change of heart. When Maria is about to fall from the crack, she and Ronnie Anne work together to rescue her. After the two saves Maria, Ucumu rises from the cracks in the ground and getting ready to rampage through Mexico.
Banding together, Ronnie Anne, Punguari, and the rest of the Casagrandes work together to defeat Ucumu and save Mexico. Remembering that Ucumu is defeating with a giant flaming chancla, Maria, Rosa, and Lupe goes to get the stone chancla from the top of the town, Ronnie Anne and Punguari battle against Ucumu, while the other try to find the sacred flame to light the chancla.
While Punguari and Ronnie Anne fights Ucumu, she discovers that the two gemstones on Ucumu's headpiece contain her parents who got trapped earlier, but this causes Punguari to become distracted while allowing Ucumu to strike her and Ronnie Anne. Ucumu summons his army of Lava Minions to attack people in Mexico, which Ronnie Anne's family manages to fight them off.
As Ucumu is about to suck up Punguari so he can trap her alongside with her parents, the rest of the Casagrandes launch the giant chancla at Ucumu's face to save Punguari, causing his skin to burn off and revealed his skeletal structure. Ronnie Anne uses Punguari's staff to reduce Ucumu's body to ashes that falls into the cracks which he emerged from. Afterwards, Punguari manages to use her magic to destroy her temple by using the pieces to seal the cracks and ensure that Ucumu will never rise again.
After Ucumu's second defeat, Chipiri and Sisiki are finally freed in their physical forms as well as Punguari apologize to her parents for her bad behavior and almost putting people in danger. With Mexico is safe from Ucumu again, Punguari becomes a better person when protecting the land along with her parents and admires herself as a true friend to Ronnie Anne.
