Princess Cadence is a recurring heroine from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is Twilight Sparkle's former foal-sitter and later sister-in-law, and Shining Armor's wife. She is the Princess of the Crystal Empire. She is the daughter-in-law of Night Light and Twilight Velvet, and also the mother of Princess Flurry Heart. She was voiced by Brittany McKillip.

Cadence is light pink in body color. Her eyes are a vibrant light purple. Her mane and tail is stripped in colors of pale yellow, bright pink, and purple. And her cutie mark has a shape like crystal heart. As a human, she is depicted as a Caucasian woman with long moderate purple hair with moderate pink and pale gold streaks on her hair, pale and peach skin tone, light cerise eyebrows, brilliant arctic blue eyeshadow, light purple eyes, and light fuchsia lipstick. She also wore light brilliant amber necklace, long-sleeved moderate azure coat with moderate arctic blue collar, beige-colored button, and a diamond heart on her left chest, pale cyan shirt, moderate cyan skirt, and brilliant amber heels.
