Mylène Haprèle, known as Polymouse is a major character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. In season 4, she receives the Mouse Miraculous from Ladybug, which, when inhabited by Mullo, can transform her into Polymouse, a mouse-themed superhero.
She is voiced by Jessica Gee.
In "Horrificator", after feeling humiliated for getting scared easily while filming Nino Lahiffe's movie, she got akumatized by Hawk Moth and became Horrificator, a monstrous supervillain.
In "Gang of Secrets", after Marinette kept hiding secrets from them, Mylène was reakumatized by Shadow Moth into Horrifcator alongside Reflekta, Princess Fragrance,Timebreaker and Lady Wifi. The five supervillains all formed the Gang of Secrets, a group of supervillains who wanted to reveal Marinette's secrets.
After the events of "Strikeback", Mylène was temporarily unable to become Polymouse after Monarch managed to steal the Mouse Miraculous along with all the others contained in the Chinese Miracle Box from Ladybug's yo-yo.
In "Re-creation", after Ladybug recovered the stolen Miraculous and reforged them following Monarch's defeat, Mylène was given back the Mouse Miraculous permanently and reunited with Mullo.
In "Revelator", it's shown that, after getting her Miraculous back, Mylène, along with the other secundary heroes of Ladybug's team, was trained to unlock her adult powers, no longer detransforming after using her power.

Mylène is short and chubby with blonde hair that has some strands dyed green, blue, and magenta which is styled in dreadlocks with a dreadlock on her left side of her head has a purple cat bead, another dreadlock on her left side has a golden loop and golden brown eyes.
Civilian attire[]
She wears a pink bandanna to hold her hair back, and she has a necklace with a stone pendant. She wears a periwinkle shirt with a white silhouette design on the front of a bird holding a branch with leaves, which is underneath an olive green hoodie jacket. There are pins attached to her jacket: on the right side, she has a daisy pin; on the left side, she has a ladybug pin, a panda pin, and a yellow and green pin. Additionally, she wears dark gray jean shorts, black leggings, and dark purple and white sneakers.
As Horrificator[]
Horrificator is a large salamander-like monster. The top half of her body is mainly pink, and the bottom half, along with her forearms, are mainly purple. She has three yellow eyes with red pupils, the third eye being in the middle of her forehead, and has periwinkle tentacles with spots on the back of her head. Her head has freckles; her mouth has sharp, jagged white teeth; and her tongue is light blue. She has dark purple claws on her hands, while the claws on her feet are brown, the toes being tan-colored. She has a long purple tail. The pin that Ivan gave her is attached next to one of her head tentacles but is hidden by her pink goo.
As Polymouse[]
As Polymouse, Mylène has moderate green eyes, and her hair is still braided, but is light brilliant rose-colored and shorter, tied into a pigtail in the back of her head. Which is hidden by a medium gray jacket with a hood which bears mouse ears with light pink insides.
She wears a medium gray mouse-themed turtlenecked jumpsuit with a pale pink front, starting from her collar to her thighs. And pale pink gloves and boots with light amaranth borders, fingers and soles, which have magentaish black mouse footprint markings. And a light gray face mask with pale pink eyelids and borders, and a brilliant crimson accent on the bridge of her nose, resembling a nose. The jump rope, when not in use, is tied in her hips, resembling a mouse's tail. The gray material of her costume seems to be iridescent as it shines pink in some lighting.
Personality[]
Mylène is a meek and cordial girl. Although she tries to be brave, she is easily frightened by anything that she sees as scary, which she is ashamed of and even cries about in "Horrificator". She also is sensitive to being made fun of and is hurt by Chloé's mean remarks about her. She appreciates kindness, and she speaks very fondly of those she loves. According to Marinette in the webisode with the same name, Mylène always tries to look for the best in people. As seen in "Mega Leech", Mylene has a caring, intelligent, protective, and bold side when it comes to protecting her friends or the environment like when she protested to save the trees or not for waste to be dumped into space.
As Polymouse, Mylène's personality mostly remains the same, but she shows more confidence and bravery.
As Horrificator, she relished in making everyone scared (as opposed to her being scared). Aggressive and menacing, she attacked everyone and didn't like it if any of them aren't freaked out by her. Despite this, she retained her feelings towards Ivan and refused to harm him. When she was calmed down by the song Smelly Wolf, her bravado and confidence were gone, leaving her terrified by the others and running into Ivan's arm for comfort and protection.
When akumatized a second time as Horrificator, she, along with Lady Wifi, Reflekta, Princess Fragrance, and Timebreaker, wanted to expose Marinette's secrets in hopes of saving her and to be friends again by forcing her to give them up. While Lady Wifi claimed Horrificator would keep Ladybug and Cat Noir, she did want to save Marinette so they could be friends again. She and the Gang of Secrets had no qualms putting bystanders in danger to find Marinette, such as scaring others to make herself stronger so she'd capture Marinette. Her desire to persevere their friendship was so intense that she, Princess Fragrance, Reflekta, and Timebreaker chased after an illusion of Marinette instead of taking Cat Noir's ring.

In "Horrificator", she is corrupted by Hawk Moth into the titular supervillain that grows more powerful the more feared she is.

Mylène becomes akumatized again with a scarlet akuma and gets saved by Ladybug and Cat Noir during the Heroes' Day special.

Horrificator appears in Gamer 2.0's game.
Season 4[]
In "Gang of Secrets", when Marinette angrily snaps at Mylène, Alya, Rose, Juleka, and Alix and orders them out of her room, their heartbroken state allows Shadow Moth to akumatize them, causing Mylène to become Horrificator again as part of the newly-dubbed Gang of Secrets to hunt down Marinette. She is later restored when Cat Noir and Ladybug destroy the friendship bracelet in Timebreaker's possession that contained the akuma, purify it, and fix the damage with Miraculous Ladybug.
In "Mega Leech", Ladybug gives the Mouse Miraculous to Mylène to help defeat André Bourgeois, who has been transformed by Shadow Moth into Malediktator again. She meet Mullo, the mouse kwami, and transforms into Polymouse for the first time.
Season 5[]
In "Jubilation", Polymouse is among the superheroes attending Ladybug and Cat Noir's wedding in the dream caused by Gift when they are fighting Darker Owl in reality.
In "Determination", to try and help restore morale to Paris because of losing Polymouse and the other heroes, Grevin Museum curator Veronique has a wax figurine of Polymouse made, alongside those of the rest of the team, in hopes of helping to boost hope. When Mayor Bourgeois, under Chloé's influence again, refuses to let the figures be displayed, Veronique is akumatized by Monarch into Manipula, bringing the wax figures of Polymouse and the others to life to try and make Manipula look like a hero by bringing the team back.
In the season finale, "The Final Day", Mylène is part of the Resistance as they fight against the Miraculized as part of Monarch's Operation Perfect Alliance, later joined by the United Heroez, Ladydragon, and Su-Han, but it is a losing fight. She helps to free Ivan of his own Miraculized transformation before assuring him he's safe when he is still plagued by Nightormentor's nightmares. As shown in "Miraculous London", after Ladybug used her Miraculous Ladybug to undo the effects of Operation Perfect Alliance and restore everyone to normal, Marinette later restores the Miraculous to their original forms, and entrusts Mullo to Mylène permanently, allowing her to become Polymouse again as the French Miraculous superhero team is reunited for whatever the next Hawk Moth in Lila Rossi/Cerise Bianca, has planned for them.
Season 6[]
Since being entrusted with the Mouse Miraculous, Mylène has been granted permission by Marinette to use the Miraculous for other heroic acts when Paris is not being threatened by an akumatized supervillain. She has also overcome the limiter failsafe on the Mouse Miraculous, allowing her to use her special ability repeatedly without needing to revert back to give Mullo time to recuperate.
In "The Illustrhater", Polymouse is trying to help recover the ball from a pair of children that rolled under a van, but Ladybug, due to Marinette's paranoia about leaving Paris' wellbeing to the other members of Team Miraculous, arrives to do it herself, much to Polymouse's confusion and chagrin, which Cat Noir takes notice of when he shows up to investigate, and decides to speak to Ladybug about it.
In "Daddycop", Mylène, along with Alya, Rose, Juleka, Kagami, and Zoé, are preparing for their weekly girls movie night at Marinette's, but Marinette had planned to celebrate her 100th kiss with Adrien that same night. When they notice Sabrina and how she had been alone since Chloé was exiled from Paris, they decide to invite her, through Zoe, to the movie night. Unfortunately, Marinette assumed they were okay with her inviting Adrien so she could still have her dinner date with him, and when Sabrina is heartbroken after Marinette told her the truth, when they learn of it, fearing for Sabrina's well-being, they rush to help and comfort her, but are confronted by her father, Lt. Roger Raincomprix gets akumatized into Daddycop by Chrysalis. Mylene is among the first victims of Daddycop to be brainwashed into becoming a zombie who loves Sabrina and attempt to chase her down to comfort her, but later, thanks to a group effort by Ladybug, Cat Noir, Pegasus, and Miss Hound, Mylene and the other victims are returned to normal, stunned and confused by what happened. Later, back at Marinette's, Sabrina apologizes for her sins when she was helping Chloé and hopes for a fresh start with the other female members of Team Miraculous. Mylene and the other girls reassure her Chloé is nothing but a bad memory for all of them now and Sabrina has a chance to truly be herself now and not be in the shadow of someone like Chloé anymore, giving Sabrina a group hug to show they are there to help her now. Later, Sabrina appears at school sporting a new appearance now that she can just be herself, and Mylene and the other members of Team Miraculous offer positive reactions to it.

- Mylène Haprèle is the tenth person to become a Miraculous holder who was also an Akumatized villain, following Nino Lahiffe in "The Bubbler", Alya Césaire in "Lady Wifi", Lê Chiến Kim in "Dark Cupid", Alix Kubdel in "Timebreaker", Max Kanté in "Gamer", Chloé Bourgeois in "Antibug", Rose Lavillant in "Princess Fragrance", Kagami Tsurugi in "Riposte", and Luka Couffaine in "Silencer", and Zoé Lee in "Sole Crusher" but excluding Gabriel Agreste/Hawk Moth, who akumatized himself in "The Collector" into the titular villain.
- Mylène being the holder of the Mouse Miraculous is ironic due to her admitting to be afraid of mice. But it's also befitting since Ivan's nickname for her is "Little Mouse".
- Polymouse and Purple Tigress are two Miraculous holders who's weapons double as their tails.
