Thanks to Otose, Jirochou became a popular vigilante group. Before starting her snack business, Otose worked as a waitress at a coffee shop selling tea and dango. Many people were attracted to her due to her kind and friendly personality, which made her very popular. One day, she meets Terada Tasugorou, who will become her future husband. Since Jirochou was a member of a gang, and Tatsugorou was his aide, the two clashed many times. Eventually, the two became good friends who only wanted to protect the Kabuki district.

All three became close friends, but both fell in love with Otose. However, Jirocho only wished for Otose's happiness, so he backed off and allowed Terada and Otose to be together. Both Otose and Oiwa fell in love with Terada, but in the end Otose and Terada got married. When the war with the Celestials broke out, both Terada and Jirocho joined the battle as Joui patriots. However, after Tatsugorou's death, Jirochou leaves his family and returns to protect the town and Otose. From a certain point on, Jirochou became one of the Four Devas of Kabuki District.
