Nori and sentinel cutout

Nori Doorman is a posthumous character in Murder Drones. She was Khan Doorman's wife and Uzi's mother, but was euthanized by her husband shortly before the pilot episode after apparently suffering nanite acid damage from an unknown decomposing drone. Although she dies due to the events of the show, it is implied that Nori plays a much larger role in the plot, as she has a strong connection to the Absolute Solver that rivals Cyn, and she is a mutant passed it down to her daughter through the code.

Appearance[]

Nori bears a striking resemblance to her daughter Uzi, indicating that she has given most of her characteristics to her daughter. She has neon purple eyes and hair that is lighter purple than maggots, and has long bangs that are parted on her left side and tied in a ponytail. She also wears a black helmet over her bare feet, a short black dress, and a black collar with an ID number around her neck. This is the same outfit worn by Doll's late mother, Yeva. Later, Uzi will inherit the ID number.

The AbsoluteSolver hologram also shows Nori holding baby Uzi, indicating that she was likely still an infant or toddler when her mother died. In the hologram, both Nori and her infant Uzi show Solver's trident glyphs on their visors, indicating that Uzi was infected for life because her mother's code was infected before her birth. It was revealed.

Personality[]

Nori is never mentioned or questioned about who she was or how she acted before her eventual death, so almost everything about her character is surrounded by speculation. However, according to her husband Khan, Nori was a "person of note" who was worthy of everyone's attention, hinting that she may have been the kind of person everyone wanted to hang out with and be friends with. This would put her in the opposite position of her daughter as everyone would try to do. Avoid in most cases.

Additionally, she is seen in Dead End where she is seen using Absolute Solver despite the ability being a potential risk to her and despite unusual events occurring. As such, she is shown to be a laid-back individual who is seemingly unfazed by what is happening around her. Background when being interviewed. Nevertheless, she has also been described as "strange and insane" for her portrayal of demolition drones and her prophecies about the singularity. This may suggest that Uzi's behavior is due in part to her mother's traits.

Biography[]

Still shrouded in mystery, Nori was a worker at Camp 98.7 when it was still active, participating in a still unidentified research project. She had ID tag #002. At one point, Nori fled the Cabin Fever Labs, and Alice considered the others abandoned. After the nuclear collapse that turned Copper 9 into a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Nori and her future husband Khan left the camp to join the Worker Drone colony.

Nori begins a normal life with Khan and her daughter Uzi, but she becomes increasingly paranoid, seeing visions of demolition drones and nightmares of dangerous "singularities" that threaten her and tried to warn other drones about the danger. Her prediction would soon be proven correct. Demolition drones are deployed to Copper 9 and the massacre begins. Nori was attacked by their poisonous tails and Khan killed her using a wrench to put her out of her misery.

Trivia[]

  • Her name was first revealed by Liam Vickers at an early screening of Murder Drones "Heartbeat" in Berkeley, California.
  • A family photo of the Doorman family is seen during her pilot. Nori's face was covered in something like nanite acid that burned her.
  • A closet containing "Nori's insane and insane things" appears in "The Promening", where Khan keeps Uzi's insane ramblings and the events of "Cabin Fever". At one point, Khan hinted that she had the same paranoid side as her daughter, and Khan explained that Nori was like this to Uzi: Tell him to prepare for the "coming sky demon," the "terrible singularity," and "the cool 'S' she paints."
  • Liam Vickers likes Nori's hair.
