Nao Homare is one of the minor supporting characters that appear in Kaiju World War: Parts 1, 2 and 3. He's also one of the supporting protagonists and the anti-hero in Taimanin RPGX and Action Taimanin.
Appearance[]
His appearance is notorious for being often considered a flat-chested girl by many, including Kotaro. He has a very slender figure, like an athletic girl, with short white hair, light lipstick, and eyes with feminine eyelashes and light blue irises. His Taimanin outfit further add dimension to his appearance.
Personality[]
A role model, a hard-working and sincere Taimanin. He has excellent academic ability, values order, and watches over those who suffer. He sometimes uses abusive language, but other than that he is quite calm-spoken. He loves "cute" things, and always wears women's clothing with an emphasis on design. Nao understands that he could be mistaken for being a woman, which is a little frustrating.
However, he views Kotaro Fuuma as his rival, and there is sometimes tension between the two. Nao often observes Kotaro, gives him a fake crooked smile, and treats him in an almost stern and educational tone. Nao can be completely hostile, but respect between the two is slowly gained. Nao doesn't really like him at first.
History[]
He is known as a young new force with a promising future as a Taimanin. He is a handsome young man who is often mistaken for a beautiful girl. He also looks cuter in a girl's uniform. He serves as a platoon leader with Kuro Shishimura, and both are responsible for guarding VIPs and monitoring the academy.
In initial introductions, he is often assumed to be a third-year student at Gosha Academy, similar to Rinko Akiyama. In both known timelines, he appears to be extremely hostile towards Kotaro.
Taimanin RPGX[]
Nao has a bit of a fight with Kotaro Fuuma when they first meet, but later becomes one of his "friends". However, Nao always acts strangely around Kotaro. During her missions, she is often with Koro Shishimura.
Her first confirmed appearance was in 2083, when she infiltrated Amidahara Prison and confronted Hikoshiro Numazu. She appears in bit roles in Cat Paw Glass and other minor assignments in 2084. In 2085, he will appear at several events with Shikanosuke Uehara, Nozomi Aino, Lulu Manhattan, Ambrose and others.
In 2087, she met Tsuru Izumo, who became her best friend. She is given a travel ticket to Atami, along with Koro Shishimura, Tsuru, and Tsuru's father's library. Nao supports Tsuru's quest to get closer to her father. When they returned, the relationship between Nao, Tsuru Izumo, and Koro Shishimura had become even stronger. August, around Obon in Maezaki City. Kanna Shimizu, who was working part-time in festival planning, investigates a "bloody prank" with office worker Tanahashi, but when she returns to a room covered in blood, she talks about the devil. The people thought it was a prank, thinking that the festival would take place since it was only animal blood, but Asagi Igawa became worried and told Nao's group to ask Natsu Inage for information. Tsuru Izumo also joins in, worried about his last interaction with Inage. Inage remembers that the demon at the festival was Doumeki, whom she defeated and left for dead 30 years ago. Thinking that she may have returned, she disguises herself as a human and infiltrates Obon with the entire group using Kanna as a decoy. As Inage stated, the blood was just something the demon did to create fear and better taste in the marked victim. While Kanna is busy dancing with an old man, fog begins to cover the area and the group becomes separated. Initially, they suspect Tanahashi to be a devil in disguise, but Nao realizes from his strange behavior that he is trying to draw the group away from the center. Tanahashi suspected that he was only trying to blackmail her and create a distraction, but Nao was too late and Natsu Inage and Tsuru Izumo were captured by the devil's mysterious fog. The illusion-producing fog made the fight difficult, but Nao fired a light rifle from outside the fog, and the demon's primary weapon weakened him. Further uses his light art to blind its eyes and help the crane kill it. The next day, Koro, Tsuru, and Nao became good friends and went to a fireworks festival together.
Action Taimanin[]
As a member of the team that protects Arabella Glucksheim, she investigates a small fishing village around Halloween, where she meets Kotaro for the first time.
Later, while overlooking a festival in Maezaki City, he asks Asagi Igawa to cooperate with Kotaro Fuuma. He expresses his dislike for Kotaro and points out his failures at both Kinki International Airport and Kotrara Island. However, seeing him deal with the danger of Rabito gives him a modicum of trust.
He was later mentioned by Shikanosuke Uehara at a camp event. He suggested that she could have asked Kotaro out as another male friend, and Kotaro said that Nao still seemed to hate the idea of testing him.
Power & Abilities[]
Main Weapon: Rifle "Baldor"
- Nina Art: "Light Art", "Gathering Light" which is a type of light fusion technique. Through repeated training, he has acquired the power to gather light energy that can melt steel. His rifle "The Baldor" can also store light energy, allowing him to use his power even in places where light cannot reach or at night.
- Particle Control: Taimanin can manipulate Taimani particles to enhance their physical strength, speed, and defense. Particles are also used to counter demonic influence and enhance damage to demons.
