The Mother Goat is the main protagonist of The Wolf and the Seven Little Kids/Goats.

Plot[]

When mother goat is about to headed into the forest to look for food, she informs her seven kids to watch out for the wolf, who will try to sneak inside the house and eat them all. The mother goat tells her kids that the wolf often disguises himself but they will recognize him by his hoarse voice and his black paws.

Shortly after the mother goat left, the wolf knocks at the door. He says that he is their mother and asks them to let him in the house. The kids aren't fooled, they knew it was an ambush. They tell the wolf that his hoarse voice sounds nothing like their mother's clear voice. The wolf eats a lump of chalk in order to make his voice sound clearer. He tries once again to gain entrance to the goats' house. The kids, however, weren't suppose to let the wolf in because they see one of his black paws leaning against the window. To make his paw look like one of the mother goat's white feet, the wolf headed to the bakery to put some dough on his foot, then gets a miller to put some flour on top of it and leaves.

The wolf returns to the goats' house. In a clear voice, he tells the kids that he is their mother and asks them to open the door. The kids say that they will only open the door if they see their mother's white foot. The wolf puts his paw covered in dough and flour through the window. The kids believe it is their mother's foot. They open the door and the wolf bargain inside their home. After been framed, the seven kids hide in various furnitures around the house to trying the flee away from the detection. With his keen nose, he smells their wools, then the wolf finds six of the kids after vandalizes their home. Luckily, one of the seven kids, the youngest, who hides inside the case of a grandfather clock, escapes detection. After having swallowed the kids, the wolf leaves the house and goes to sleep under a tree. The wolf was make sure that mother goat will never see them again as soon he planing what he's seeing them, because he's too guileful and duplicitous.

Soon afterwards, the mother goat returns home. She sees her house in disarray and her children missing. The youngest kid emerges from the grandfather clock and tells her the truth about the wolf was impersonate her, then come in and devours six of the kids whole for dinner. The mother goat runs around in her torment and wept for the poor little ones. She leaves the house and the youngest kid follows her and search for the wolf. They come to the tree under which the sleeping wolf is lying. The mother goat notices something stirring inside the wolf's body. It occurs to her that her children might still be alive. The mother goat sends the youngest kid to get the scissors, needle and thread. Then, she cautiously cuts open the wolf's stomach to let six of the kids escapes. How cheery they were. The six of the kids are still alive, emerge from it and reunited each other with mother goat and the seven kid. The mother goat gets her seven kids to fill the wolf's stomach with large stones so hastily, then she sews it up again before his nap time is almost over.

When the wolf wakes up, he feels thirsty. He's headed to the well. The wolf thought these seven kids could look heavier than these stones, then weight of the heavy stones inside him makes the wolf fall into the well, and he drowns for his demise. All the children feel unharmed to find themselves safe. They knew that's the end of the wolf so he'll never bothers her children ever again. Mother goat hope the wolf was learn his own lesson for turned them into victims, so she and her children was headed back home safe and sound. The goat family lives happily ever after.
