Morderina, known as Marian, is one of the major antagonists and one of the major protagonists in of the 2022 mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
Once known as Nikke Marian of Elysion, she was corrupted by the Raptures and the protagonist was forced to execute her. The Raptures retrieved her corpse and turned her into a Heretic, a Nikke/Rapture hybrid hostile to humanity. The protagonist manages to save her, but due to some circumstances, her memory is erased and she becomes a blank slate. Even though she is not currently serving the Raptures, she is still classified as a member of the Heretics.
Personality[]
Modernia is initially depicted with a somewhat fun demeanor combined with a sadistic tendency to torture her enemies. Modernia's voice is somehow younger than when she was still Marian. At first glance, it appears that she does not remember any of her former commanders or teammates, but after being freed from her Rapture's corrupting influence, Modernia retains some of her memories as Marian.
Because of her corruption, Marian's attitude is comparable to that of an infant. She has difficulty speaking simple words such as the names of her companions. She also became naive and prone to mischief. For some reason, she has a special tendency to wear her underwear on the outside and play with flour. She is also quite obsessed with bandages, running to get boxes of bandages and using them. She wears several of her bandages as headbands, a keepsake from before she became a heretic.
After living with Pioneer for some time, Marian's bad habits developed into eating insects, reading dirty magazines, and drinking alcohol.
