Anti-Hero Overview


Miguel Caballero Rojo (Real Name: Michael the Red Knight) is One of the Anti-Protagonist from Tekken who makes His Debut in Tekken 6. He also appears in Telken 6: the Blood Rebellion, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Tekken 7: the Fated Retribution as a DLC.

He is a Most Hated Rival of Jin Kazama who is the Son of Unknown Status, Kazuya Mishima and Jun Kazama, Grandson of late Heihachi Mishima and Great-Grandson of Jinpachi Mishima. He isn't trained in Any Martial Artists but uses His Raw, Superhuman Strength to overcomes His Enemies.

He was voiced by Liam O'Brien (only providing dialogues in TK6 and grunts in TTT2 onwards) and Hector Garay (who only provides dialogues in TTT2 onwards).

Personalities[]

Miguel is a rather Blood-thirsty and Rebellious Character, whose Reckless Nature can be seen as Both His Weakness and His Strength.

Miguel is depicted as an Undisciplined Spaniard with a Very Intense Passion for fighting, which often brought Him into conflict with Others. Despite being born into a Conservative Families, His Wild and Unruly Nature makes Him the Black Sheep.

Despite His Negative Side, Miguel is shown to be Capable of Love, especially in the Case of His Sister, whom He grows to trusts and treasures. However, Miguel's Extremely Over-Protective concerns for His Sister makes Him considers killing His Future Brother-in-Law, though He decides against it for the Sake of His Happiness. But once His Sister is killed in a Bombing Raid by the Mishima Zaimatsu ordered by Jin Kazama, Miguel finally shows His Vengeful Side and rages at Her Sister's Killer. This Rage is then also seen in His Ending in Tekken 6.

Synopsis[]

Past Flashbacks[]

Despising the thought of having His Life in the Hands of Other People, Miguel sought to live it in His own. Even after being raised by Strict Parents, His Bloodthirsty Personalities founds Him starting fights with People around Him and causes Him to be seen as a Rebel.

Countless Arguments with His Parents forces Miguel to leaves Home at the Age of 15, but He soon founds Sanctuary at a Bar He visited often. He trusts No One except His Kind-Hearted Sister whom He cares about More than Anyone.

She visits Him secretly without Their Parents knowing about it. Some Time later, Miguel's Sister told Him that She was to be married. Miguel, being outraged by this, though of killing Her Fiance.

Not wanting to breaks His Dear Sister's Heart, Miguel decides against it.

Tekken 6[]

Tekken VI Lore[]

On the Day of the Wedding, Miguel watches the Ceremony from Outside of Church, not wanting to be seen by His Parents. Under the Clear Blue Sky, almost as if it was a blessing, a Lines of Planes passed by the Weddings.

Just a Moment Later, a Burning Inferno covers the Scene. Miguel was blown away, and although He was in Great Pain and almost collapsed, Miguel tried desperately to looks for His Sister inside the remains of the Church.

To avenges Her Sister, Miguel joins a Militia called the Resistance, led by Hwoarang and Baek Doo San, to oppose and takes down Jin Kazama and the Mishima Zaibatsu. He was encountered by Rebel and Former Tekken Force Leader, Lars Alexandersson and was defeated by Him.

Tekken 6 Ending[]

Miguel runs into Mishima Zaibatsu's Base, where Jin Kazama is preparing to leaves the Place on a Chopper. Miguel comes exactly on Time to meets Jin flies away, tons of Soldiers tries to contains and neutralize Him, but Miguel beats All of Them; however, is unable to catches Jin before He leaves. Frustrated, Miguel screams in Anger.

Tekken 7[]

Tekken 7 Lore[]

Miguel keeps searching for revenge on Jin, but this has since disappeared and Miguel has lost His Life Purpose since then. Without any Real Reason to lives, He runs from the Town to Town satisfying His Thrill for battles until He meets a Stranger who results Him Very Familiar: is Jin Kazama His Most Disrespectful Rival and Sister's Taker down.

With Pure Rage and Vengeance wishes on Him, Miguel prepares Himself to gets His Revenge.

Tekken 7 Ending[]

After a Gruesome Battles, Miguel emerges Victorious. He asks Jin if He knows Him, but Jin doesn't answers. Frustrated, Miguel acknowledges that with All the People He's harmed, Jin obviously wouldn't remembers the Name or Face of One Simple Victim, and He bursts on Him with a brutal beats up. Without Energy and seeking Death, Jin asks Miguel to kills Him, Miguel lifts His Fist, ready to ends Jin once and for all. But suddenly, Miguel backs off, deciding to spares Jin's Life cause He wants to dies, Miguel decides that He's going to waits until Jin recovers the will to live; then He is gonna takes down Him like He is nothing just like He did to Miguel's Sister. Miguel warns Jin to not passed away until then and leaves.

  • In One of His Fated Retribution Victory Sequences, Miguel gets very angry the Cameraman, then smashes the lens with a Right Hook.
  • Part of His Last Name, "Rojo" is Spanish for "Red". His Tekken 6 Attires didn't Highlights this (the Only Bit of Red being around His 1P Outfit's Waist). His Tag 2 and Fated Retribution outfits prominently features Red Jackets, However.
    • In English, His Full Name translates to "Michael the Red Knight".
  • Miguel becomes a Hero, not getting brainwashed. All along, When He stays up as a Villain.
