Michinaga Azuma

Michinaga Azuma is one of the supporting characters in Kamen Rider Geats. He's the rival of Ace. He is who transforms into Kamen Rider Buffa

Personality

Michinaga exudes a cold and standoffish attitude in battle, considering all other Riders to be his enemies. He is more than happy to see them fall in combat, which is based on his desire to win and the belief that no participant is acting on fully selfless motivations. He is particularly hostile towards Ace Ukiyo, who defeated him in previous DGP games, and therefore serves as his greatest opponent. His desire is to crush all Kamen Riders out of revenge for the death of his best friend, especially Geats.

Michinaga also can be particularly stubborn and brutish, such as harshly rejecting any help or advice from other Riders despite him being in dire situation or the current DGP round being geared around teamwork, as he vehemently views any of them as his enemies, or rashly taking action without thinking such as attempting to finish off infected Neon before she turned into a zombie. This also extends to combat, where he prefers to engage in direct brute force, using even long-ranged weapons such as the Raise Water and Magnum Shooter 40X as melee weapons.

Despite his coldness and ruthlessness to do anything it takes to win such as willing to take a penalty in a failed effort to get the Ninja Buckle from Ace, he shows a certain degree of honor as he draws a line at certain dirty strategies such as players playing dirty to eliminate one another, particularly by sabotaging them. Rarely, he still cares about certain people such as his friend Toru Imai, who was killed in a game and mocked by other Riders as he died.
