The Mane 6 are the six main characters in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Their names are Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity. They all represent the six elements of harmony: honesty, kindness, laughter, loyalty, generosity, and magic.

Twilight Sparkle is a unicorn pony and the most prominent of the group. She lived in Canterlot until she moved to Ponyville to study the magic of friendship. Twilight resides in the Golden Oaks Library, along with her friend Spike. Twilight is temporarily transformed into an alicorn at the end of season three after the completion of a new spell.Twilight's abilities include teleportation, magic beams, and later is temporarily able to fly. Twilight represents the elements of magic.
