Lynn L. Loud, Sr. is the supporting character of Nickelodeon's The Loud House franchise. He is the father of the Loud kids and the husband of Rita Loud.
He is voiced and portrayed by Brian Stepanek, who also voices Todd in the same series.
Biography[]
Past[]
According to the episode "L is for Love" and the first film The Loud House Movie, Lynn Sr. meet Rita which she works as a crossing guard. Since she was too shy to directly talk to him, he found love letters from Rita whenever he passed by. On her third note, Rita asks Lynn Sr. to meet her at Banger's & Mosh and the two fell in love. He and Rita then getting married and live their house by having their eleven children.

Lynn Sr. is the patriarch of the Loud family where he and his wife, Rita, are making sure their children have to stay out of trouble, even the two have to punish them if they misbehave. He use to work as an IT specialist, but as of the second season, he quits his job by starting work at the Aloha Comrade, where he dreams to become a chef due to his cooking skills. As of the episode "Cooked!", he becomes a chef and opens his own restaurant, Lynn's Table.
In "Home of the Fave", it is revealed that in Lynn Sr.'s youth, his father Leonard played favorites with him and his older brother, Lance. Despite the apparent case of parental favoritism, Leonard mostly takes Lynn Sr. to Camp Mastodon for summer vacation, as shown in "Camped!". In "Can't Hardly Wait", he hires Lori to work with him and Kotaro at Lynn's Table so she can save money for Fairway University. As of the fifth season episode "Dad Reputation", Lynn Sr. along with Harold, Kotaro and Rodney starts to make the music band, the Doo Dads.
In "'Twas the Fight Before Christmas", it was revealed that Lynn Sr. and Lance rivalry each other which the two didn't see each other on Christmas for five years, but later he and Lance are now get along and rescue Lincoln, Lori and Shelby from the lake. In "Homeward Bound", he feels grateful that Lori has residence in Mr. Grouse's garage. As in "Close Encounters of the Nerd Kind", Lynn Sr. is bravely to celebrate Halloween for which he's no longer fear of it.
Personality[]
Lynn Sr. is stern and he often stops his children from fighting, but he loves and cares about them. He also loves his wife, Rita, and acts romantic towards her. He is shown to have a childlike side on occasions and the more sensitive of the two parents, mostly prone to crying when he is frustrated and necessitating his wife stepping in whenever he needs to pull himself together.
Appearance[]
Lynn Sr. is the father of the Loud family who has a fair skin complexion and wears a green sweater over a light-green checkered collar and cuffs. He also wears brown slacks, has a long pointy nose, brown eyebrows and curly brown hair that is balding on the top.

- Lynn Sr. and Rita's entire faces doesn't shown during the first season until the second season episode "11 Louds a Leapin'".
