Lori L. Loud is one of the ten deuteragonists of Nickelodeon's The Loud House franchise and a supporting character in the spin-off series The Casagrandes. She is the oldest of the family and the oldest sibling in the house throughout the first season to fourth season. In the fifth season, she eventually moves out to attend college at Fairway University and visit her home once in a while. As of the eighth season, she takes a gap year from college and has taken up residence in Mr. Grouse's garage.
Lori is a 17-year-old (later 18-year-old) girl who loves shopping and talking on her phone (mainly her boyfriend, Bobby). She bullies her siblings on occasions throughout the first season to the episode "Change of Heart". She is the former roommate of Leni Loud.
She is voiced by Catherine Taber, who also voiced Padme Amidala from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Jangrah from the Club Penguin TV specials, and female Jesse. In the live-action series, she was portrayed by Lexi DiBenedetto.
Biography and Personality[]
Lori wants to keep her shoes under her bed for no reasons and doesn't like the others touching her possessions (mostly her phone). She likes shopping and talking her boyfriend, Bobby, on her phone. She is also very territorial as she yells at anyone (such as her younger siblings) who goes into her room without permission.
In some occasions, Lori commits malicious actions against the others for her own selfish actions, like in "Driving Miss Hazy", but she has a caring heart underneath a rough exterior, and she will always try to fix her mistakes when her love for her family constantly comes before any problem. She is insecure and usually frustrated with the responsibilities and burdens of having to take care of her younger siblings. When Lori gets annoyed and agitated by a lot of people, she feels lonely without the people, but she still cares about them (even Bobby and her family) and fears that she will lose them.
When Bobby and Ronnie Anne moved to Great Lakes City in "The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos" during The Loud House's second season, Lori plans to graduate high school and attend college throughout the third season to fourth season, but in "Driving Ambition" that she obtains a scholarship at Fairway University, a golf college which just five miles outside of the Great Lakes City which she will be close to Bobby again. She takes a tour of Fairway University in "Don't You Fore-get About Me", followed by getting her job as the assistant manager for her father's restaurant in "Can't Hardly Wait" and attempts to work as a ride-share driver to save money for her own car in "Coupe Dreams", but she eventually buys an old car from Mr. Grouse while Lana fixes it.
As of the fifth season, she moved out to start her new life at Fairway University and retired from being in charge. She has now appeared less frequently on the show and visiting home once in a while, such as for Lana and Lola's birthday party in "Strife of the Party", Christmas in "Season's Cheatings" and Halloween in "Great Lakes Freakout!". She also has few episodes that focuses on her at Fairway.
As of the eighth season, Lori takes a gap year from college and has residence in Mr. Grouse's garage, but she still visits her family once in a while. As of the episode "Trouble Brewing", she becomes an employee at the Burnt Bean where she and Luan now working together.
Appearance[]
Lori is a tall lady who has her blond hair on the top of her shoulders and light blue eyeshadow. She wears a light blue tank top, brown shorts and blue shoes.
Trivia[]
- In "One of the Boys", her mirror world counterpart, Loki, may actually be kinder and less of a speed demon when he drives in Lincoln's dream, although he is shown to be abrasive in his debut appearance.
- Their outfits are similar, except Loki who wears sneakers instead.
