Leni Loud is one of the ten titular deuteragonists of Nickelodeon's The Loud House franchise.
She is a 16-year-old (later 17-year-old) ditzy and accident-prone girl who likes making up for it and her most annoying habit is saying "like". She uses a vacuum cleaner and feared of spiders. She also works as an employee of Reininger's. As of the fifth season, she is the current oldest sibling in the house when Lori moves out to attend Fairway University.
She is voiced by Liliana Mumy, who voices Twinkle, Panini, and Wadi, and is named after the character Leni Small (A similarly slow-witted but kind-hearted character, though Leni Small is a male) from the John Steinbeck novel 'Of Mice and Men.' In the live-action series, she is portrayed by Dora Dolphin in A Loud House Christmas and currently Eva Carlton who voices Odlulu in Where's Waldo?.
Biography and Personality[]
Leni is a ditzy, shy, silly, kind-hearted and scatter-brained girl who skilled at fashion designing, wood carving, singing, lock-picking and making smoothies. She is the kindest and sweetest out of the bunch and gets along with her siblings. She also has a crush on Chaz, a kind-hearted boy who is one of Lori's friends and shares her interest in fashion.
As of the third season episode "Shop Girl", Leni gets her job at the clothing store, Reininger's. However, in "Crimes of Fashion" where she is wrongly accused and fired from her job by Ms. Carmichael for stealing several scarfs from her department. After Lincoln and Clyde found out that Ms. Carmichael's son did it, she was re-hired by Ms. Carmichael who apologizing for accusing her. Leni later becomes temporary manager of Reininger's in "Leader of the Rack" and named employee of the month in "The Boss Maybe".
Leni is shown to be irresponsible as in the episode "Cover Girls" where she agrees to cover for her six siblings. However, Leni is also shown to be very compassionate as she was the only one of her siblings to prioritize helping her family get better when her few of her family gets the flu in "One Flu Over the Loud House". In "No Spoilers", she is the only sister in the family to be able to make the perfect surprise party because she pays attention to what people like, even she constantly spoils the surprise.
As of the fifth season, Leni is the new oldest sibling living in the house while Lori moves out to attend college at Fairway University, but Lori can visit her family once in a while. As of the sixth season episode "Driver's Dread", she finally learned to drive and got her driver's license, which it means Leni was able to drive Vanzilla.
Appearance[]
Leni has long, pale blonde hair with side-swept bangs and three pairs of eyelashes. She is almost tall like Lori, but taller than her younger siblings.
She wears a seafoam green dress with white frills and triangular sleeves. She also wears red hoop earrings, white sandals, topped with light green bows and a pair of rounded white sunglasses with black lenses on top of her head.

- According to Chris Savino, Leni was named after Lennie Small, the deuteragonist of John Steinback's iconic novel Of Mice and Men.
- She and Lily are the only Loud siblings who are left-handed.
