She had heard a rumor that sacrificing a child to a demigod would grant that god nearly unlimited power, so she fathered a daughter with King Teca. However, she soon developed feelings for her child and thereafter took steps to protect her from Lord Mictlan for as long as possible, visiting her often on her birthday.

Lady Micte then revealed herself to Maya after escaping from the Underworld and fought Mictlan on her behalf. She was later poisoned by Mictlan and died during the final battle.

But seeing that she, the goddess of death, had created her life, unable to take advantage of her daughter, she softened her heart and sent her to her father. , decided to protect her daughter with all her might so that her husband would not kill her.

History[]

When she was a young goddess, all she wanted was power, so she married Lord Mictlan. But later he became drunk with power and Micte realized that it was only a matter of time before he attacked her, so if a demigod was sacrificed, such a god would become the most powerful in both realms. When she heard the rumor that, she had an affair with King Teca and gave birth to Maya. She initially thought of helping Mictlan become even more powerful, but after becoming her mother, she realized that the only thing that mattered to her was her daughter.

This changed her feelings towards Maya, so she convinced Mictlan to send Maya away to become more powerful, saving her rather than sacrificing her girlfriend. By doing so, Mictlan's power doubles, but it was truly to save Maya's life. She couldn't let Mictlan know that she was coming to see Maya, so she came back in disguise once a year on her birthday, and she said "Borom Chon" who always comforted her. We spent time together humming the song.
