Kyoichiro Yozakura is the tritagonist of the manga and anime series Yozakura Family. As the eldest son of the Yozakura Family and their most skilled spy, Kyoichiro was hailed as a genius even among his family of geniuses. But after he made a mistake that nearly killed Mutsumi and left her with a permanent white streak in her hair, he became obsessed with protecting her at all costs.
Appearance[]
Kyoichiro is tall, with fair skin and black eyes. He has short, shiny black hair that is parted to the side with a few strands sticking out. He always has his eyes closed and is often smiling.
He always wears a black suit and tie, a white shirt inside, and black gloves. The black gloves are to hide his scarred hands.
After the time slip, Kyoichiro wears his hair slicked back, but the side part remains and his bangs are loose. He also wears a large black overcoat over his suit and sometimes wears a bowler hat.
Personality[]
Kyoichiro is obsessed with his sister Mutsumi, to the point of being a stalker, and will do anything to protect her. As a result, he is overprotective of Mutsumi and will do anything to keep others away from her, even going so far as to threaten, blackmail, torture, and murder her, especially if the other person is a boy. He is also very affectionate towards Mutsumi, trying to spend time with her, taking care of her, and doting on her.
Due to his behavior, Kyoichiro is considered very creepy and annoying by many people, and was even nominated by Weekly Spy as the "Most Wanted Spy to Kill".
Kyoichiro also has a strong dislike for Mutsumi's husband, Taiyo Asano, and will do whatever it takes to get rid of Mutsumi, even to the point of ordering an "Easy to Understand Torture Encyclopedia" to do so. However, despite his quirks and eccentricities, Kyoichiro is a trustworthy person who will protect everyone he loves, regardless of whether they might die in the process. He once promised Taiyo that he would save him, even if it meant dying. His tolerance, approval and acceptance eventually come full circle and he protects him as "Mutsumi's husband".
He is very sensitive to children because of his brother instinct. Once, he completely malfunctioned at the sight of baby Taiyo and stood in one place as if he had died. Another time, he couldn't decide on a gift for his love and collapsed to the floor.
Ever since childhood, Kyoichiro has been very insightful and caring. He used every opportunity to sincerely praise his sibling. When he became a child, he called Taiyo his brother and was proud that "little Mutsumi" already had a husband. He expressed his fear that people around him would start to dislike him because of his overprotective personality, but Taiyo assured him that he was a reliable older brother that everyone respected.
