Koro Shishimura is a Taimanin student of Gosha Academy. She was a major character in Kaiju World War: Part 1. She appears in both Taimanin RPGX and Action Taimanin as a supporting character.
Appearance[]
She has short purple hair and purple eyes. Koro is wearing a black battle uniform. She is almost constantly surrounded by ghosts.
Personality[]
Kuro has a calm, shy, and quiet personality, and is often misunderstood as dark or quiet. In fact, most people believe she is mute.
Koro actually loves to talk and speaks often, but her voice is very low, and from the sidelines, she can only be heard as "muttering." Some think she might be creepy, given her association with ghosts. The only person who occasionally hears Koro's quiet voice is Koro's childhood friend and Taimanin squad leader Nao Homare.
She is a senior who likes detective novels and mystery novels, and is commonly known as Koro-senpai. She is friendly and caring, and she sometimes supports Shisui Amemiya. She can be a little jealous in love, but even if she can be embarrassing, she is overall kind and considerate and is just happy to make her lover happy.
History[]
Koro was a Taimanin, a senior student at Gosha Academy. She acts as the coroner for Gosha Village, using ninja techniques that allow her to interact with ghosts and gather information on the dead. Her blade skills are also respected as her senior, and she is a master of Itto-ryu, which uses scabbards and quick pulls, and there are rumors that he is assisted by a ghost, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Koro is a member of the team of subordinates of Nao, who is also her best friend since childhood. Both often appear together, as people have trouble hearing Koro when he tries to speak. Her older brother, Denji Shishimura, is a member of the fire department.
Taimanin RPGX[]
Recruited by Kotaro as an Independent Ranger. The two met for the first time after Nao started fighting with Kotaro around 2083.
Koro becomes a key figure in allowing Shisui, a spirit-like being, to leave the Gosha Library. Her Ninja Art allows Shisui to take over her body and she can replace Koro until she releases her Ninja Art. Koro assisted in the battle against the Igawa Revolt Group, which attacked Gosha led by Senshu Igawa. At that time, Koro was watching Rinko Akiyama's dual.
Koro was chosen by his marriage goddess Juno to be one of the bride's champions in a duel with the fertility goddess Dakini. She fought against Asagi Igawa, Yukikaze Mizuki, and Hebiko Aishu along with Kotaro Fuuma and Kirara Onizaki. He was able to win thanks to Koro summoning Shisui Amamiya within his body.
In 2087, she became best friends with Tsuru Izumo. Along with Nao, Tsuru, and Tsuru's father's library, he is given a travel ticket to Atami. Koro supports Tsuru's quest to get closer to his father. Near the end of August, Koro-chan's classmate Kanna Shimizu worked part-time in Maezaki City to earn money. As a festival planner, she helps office worker Tanahashi prepare for Obon. However, when she arrives at the headquarters, she finds that both her yukata, which Kanna was supposed to wear, and her room are filled with blood and internal organs. Kanna, alarmed by the message in her blood that the festival demon has returned, contacts Gosha. However, the blood turned out to be from an animal, and the public thought it was a prank, but Asagi was unconvinced and dispatched the Taimanin unit of Kanna, Nao, and Koro Shishimura, had Natsu Inage investigate and make a request. Tsuru Izumo joins in, and is a little worried about his interaction with Natsu Inage last time. Inage remembers that the demon at the festival was Doumeki, whom she defeated and left for dead 30 years ago. Thinking that he might have returned, the whole group disguises themselves as humans and infiltrates Obon with Kanna as a decoy. As Inage stated, the blood was just something the demon did to create fear and better taste in the marked victim. While Kanna is busy dancing with an old man, fog begins to cover the area and the group becomes separated. Initially, they suspected Tanahashi to be a demon in disguise, but he was only used to further separate the group. However, in Inageka, Tsuru Izumo and Nao were able to defeat the monster using the light technique. The next day, Koro, Tsuru Izumo, and Nao became good friends and went to a fireworks festival together.
Action Taimanin[]
Koro can join the Taimanin Task Force as a supporter. She is part of a conservation village team that monitors Arabella Glucksheim with her regular partner, Nao, while investigating a small fishery related to the old merfolk lineage.
While Nao harbors hostility towards her, she reunites with Kotaro Fuuma.

- Ninja Art: "Soul Art", "Hades Recording/Death's Record", and able to read information about spirits by touching a corpse. In addition to scientific information such as cause of death and genetic information, it is also possible to read the strongest thoughts and memories. Although it is not possible to read information from a living person, detached parts such as hair lose their vitality, and information is proportional to the size of the detached part. She can summon spirits to support in battle, and able to attack by extracting her own soul from her body. Mastering her art allows her mind to take over her body. Her body transforms into a person possessing her, and her own spirit can be put to sleep at this point, but this is not required.
- Itto-Style User: Known for his high drawing speed that is second to none.
- Particle Control: Taimanin can manipulate Taimani particles to enhance their physical strength, speed, and defense. Particles are also used to counter demonic influence and enhance damage to demons.
