Jhala is a playable character and the protagonist on the 2D platform fighter online video game Brawlhalla. Her strength and fury are as fatal as a force of nature as her native land, and she continues to demonstrate it on the battlefields of the eternal tournament, defeating enemy after enemy.
History[]
Life was difficult for the hardy villagers of Ikursk. They survived the freezing winter in the shadow of Mount Tragedy, huddled around pools of hellfire that eternally rained down from the mountaintops. It was a nice summer, when the scorpion swarm decimated the vampires. During the day, he tended the livestock, and at night he chased away cursed armor that fell from the sky. The hardships made them tough and most potential enemies were in such awe that they left them alone.
Not so, the Lord of Scales, rode a great flame dragon and burned down a village, and then some. Young Jhala only survived because she used an ax and knife to scale the dragon's massive body and hang safely in the air. Above the burning city, Jhala threw down the Scale King and took control of the dragon. However, she was too late to reach her home. Jhala set out astride the great dragon.
Thus began the greatest adventure epic of our time. Jhala stole the Scepter of Invincibility from the Invincible King. She defeated the Orc Warlord named Xull in single combat and earned the title of "Friend". She won Dragonport City in a drinking competition with the pirate queen named Sidra. Apollo himself gave Jhala the title "Noble Lion" after he led the entire Terran army to victory against the Zombie Lord, Azoth.
Jhala takes Valhalla's charms in stride, and she thinks she might return to roasting scorpions and impossibly heavy rain at any moment. But anyway, this is fun too.
