Jail Murdoch is the anti-hero and the deuteragonist in Plunderer series. He is a leader in the team with the rank of lieutenant, associated with Althea Royal Guard. The prison is also a commander of the special unit of Gefängnis.

Appearance[]

Jail has an ice-like blue hair and a long black striped that matches his iron color. His eyes are also blue. He is seen with his military uniform, white gloves pairs, and his characteristic glasses.

Personality[]

Jail is very detailed and is a powerful soldier and competent combatant. His belief is an important factor in his personality, which is the driving force for his character development. This ultimately leads to make a decision based on his deep justice.

At a glance, Jail is a sexual and very career-oriented. For example, he was in a situation close to a naked woman's body, and said casually as "losing weight." However, it is in a time travel plot that seems to change from Jail response to a specific character.

Power & Abilities[]

Jail's count is 900, and his count represents his keen conviction. In order to continue his field duties, Jail continues to hide his true numbers to avoid being promoted to a higher rank. His original count was 12,500, but due to the events of the series he was later reduced to 12,496. It is then revealed that Jail increased the count to his 45,000 by activating his second glove, showing how great his faith is. Jail's count was then reduced to just one after losing to Alexandrov in a "The Startheft Bout" match. After Alexandrov submitted his ballot to the prison, the current count in prison was 325,000.

Jail has several powers, the most notable being the ability to generate iron.

  • Steel Manipulation: Jail's signature ability allows you to freely create iron structures.
  • Iron Constructs: Jail can turn any iron he creates into tools, objects, weapons, or semi-living structures. The most noble things he created were iron pillars, kunai, knives, iron groves, and iron demons.
  • Iron Projection: Jail can emit metal at enemies for various forms of attack.
  • Strengthening beliefs: The ability to gain strength from beliefs.
  • Detect Lies: Prisons can detect lies from people whose beliefs are weaker than theirs. The prison does this when Nana lies about Licht's whereabouts and when Erin tells him that Gespenst betrayed Licht.
  • Deflection: Later chapters show that Jail is able to inflict usually fatal injuries through sheer will and faith, and is ultimately able to deflect bullets from people with less determination than himself.
  • Superhuman Speed: Jail can move at almost the same speed as Licht in his 5700 count form.
  • Blast: Later, during Jael's fight with Robert, Jael is shown to be able to use Alexandrov's abilities thanks to his Ballot and Conviction.
  • Pyrokinesis: The ability to manipulate fire.
  • Explosive Fire Manipulation: The ability to control fire and cause it to explode or turn burned objects into time bombs.
  • Fire Blast: The ability to set fire to a specific target area.
