Isaac Foster

Isaac "Zack" Foster is the deuteragonist and the anti-hero in Satsuriku no Tenshi. He first appears as an enemy on floor B6 when he meets Rachel Gardner, then becomes an ally as the game progresses.

He is a serial killer currently on the run due to his connections to recent murders and the archenemy of Catherine and Edward.

Appearance[]

Zack is a tall man, estimated to be in his 20s, according to records Ray found in a secret back room on the fourth basement floor. He wears a blood-stained brown zip-up hoodie, red pants, and black combat boots. His entire body is covered in bandages to hide his burned skin. He has short, black hair, anisocoria, a light brown left eye and a gold right eye. His favorite weapon is a large scythe. Also, before he acquired the scythe, a combat knife was his main weapon. As a child, Zack's hair was messier than it is now, and he wore a dirty short-sleeved shirt and shorts. Before his burns, his skin was white, but due to the scars from his severe burns, his skin is now light brown under the bandages.

Personality[]

Zach is impulsive and prone to violence. He is chaotic, quick to anger, and does not hesitate to use foul language in any situation. When he feels the urge to kill, he becomes ecstatic and violent. He has little control over his homicidal urges. Zach accepts that he will be seen as a monster because of his appearance and violent tendencies. He has no problem with killing or destroying, but he often professes how much he hates liars, as he considers dishonesty to be immoral. Zach calls himself a fool, but in reality he is simply uneducated. Although he cannot read or write and seems to have a hard time understanding long words, his tough upbringing has given him great instincts and strength, giving him a high survival intelligence. However, although he may have common sense, he often acts impulsively before thinking things through. As a child, Zach was abused, which made him very quiet and reserved, and he obediently followed whatever his caretakers told him to do. After being unable to bear the abuse any longer and killing them after being inspired by a horror movie he had seen, Zach developed homicidal urges, especially towards happy people, believing that they were the ones who made him who he was. Because most people he knew in his life had treated him badly, experiencing kindness felt foreign to him, and as a result, Zach would become confused and irritated when someone was nice to him.
