Irving Zisman is a character played by Johnny Knoxville.

He is a foul-mouthed, sex-crazed old man who constantly sets a bad example for his grandkids.  He appears a couple times in the Jackass movies and more recently got his own film entitled Bad Grandpa.  In the movie, Irving drives his grandson Billy cross-country to lay his deceased wife to rest and to drop his grandson off with his father.  After Billy's father proves to be an abusive alcoholic, Irving takes him back and is last seen fishing with his grandson, after throwing his wife's body off a bridge.

Origin[]

69 year-old Irving Zisman is on a journey across America with the most unlikely companions, his 8 year-old Grandson Billy in "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa”. This October, the signature Jackass character Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) and Billy (Jackson Nicholl) will take movie audiences along for the most insane hidden camera road trip ever captured on camera.

Along the way Irving will introduce the young and impressionable Billy to people, places and situations that give new meaning to the term child-rearing. The duo will encounter male strippers, disgruntled child beauty pageant contestants (and their equally disgruntled mothers), funeral home mourners, biker bar patrons and a whole lot of unsuspecting citizens.
