Imae Nobume, formerly known as Mukuro, is one of the antagonists-turned-one of the supporting protagonists of Gintama series.

Appearance[]

Nobume is a young woman with a triangular face and dull red eyes. She has a long dark blue hair, evenly prepared bangs, and two short rectangular chains that fall on her face. Nobume has a yatagarasu tattoo behind the neck, which is always covered with long hair.

She usually wears a typical Mimawarigumi uniform. Below the neck is a white suit with a long scarf drape with a collar with a gold button on the shoulder, and the front rectangular parentheses are folded. Her uniform coat is a long trench coat that extends to the ankle, and the bottom is cut in half. She also wears a black belt with a silver buckle. She is wearing a long blue shorts, not a typical Mimawarigumi pants. It also wears socks of the same color decorated with white threads that form two X on both sides. She is also wearing a uniform boots of Mimawariguri.

In her childhood, she had the same trimmed hair, albeit much shorter. She also saw a kimono and a yatagarasu uniform. After she was greeted by Sasaki, she wore clothes similar to the ironic clothes of childhood and tied her hair to a ponytail.

Her eyes were initially not a student, but had a murder-like appearance for her past, and was raised as a cold-blooded assassin by Naraku. After Sasaki Isaburo's death, she updated her ideals and the students appeared in her eyes.

Personality[]

As a result of being trained as a professional assassin by Naraku Faction, Nobume is indicated that both expression and language are emotional people. She looks like a sadistic and likes to reduce people. According to Sasaki Isaburo, she switches to the assassin mode and she gets in the way. She looks quiet, but surprisingly chatting. As shown in the Ikkoku Keisei Arc, she thinks is better not to leave them alive, but to cut off the knocked people unconsciously. She enjoyed it because she couldn't show emotions and a serious attitude, but she enjoyed it when Kagura and Soyo mischiefed the guards and kicked the cans. She is shown to be very childish.

Nobume loves doughnuts and often behaves like animals. When Sasaki rewarded her to a donut for her good job, she had even had the opportunity to hand over it, and Sasaki had to swing her to free his hands. She immediately chewed his hand before she did not let go, and in the process he dislocated it. Sasaki was able to "fish" her from a fallen building, attaching the doughnut to the fishing rod and hanging it on an abandoned INS. Furthermore, every time someone eats donut in front of her and tries to bully her, she is hostile, learned a difficult way for Sugo, and he is almost castrated.

Despite the loyalty to Sasaki Isaburo, she has a good conscience to contrary his orders. For example, despite Sasaki's orders, she allowed the Rotten Maizou to go to Yoshiwara, and when he was promoted, both the ally and the enemy were gone and stood on the top of the corpse. Also, when she was offered to sit in the commander's chair, she said that she was not sitting there, but rather going around dirt. She also showed her hostility toward Tendoshu when she arrived to recover the knob, and later told Oboro that she would never serve them again. In short, she hates those who are selfishly abused the power of authority.

In the latter half of the series, it became clear that Nobume was not sympathetic, just hiding it. It has been shown to lament his death after seeing him in a state of death for Sasaki.

She later became independent and declared to Utsuro that not only killed people for himself, but neither Tendoshu nor Mimawarigumi would kill him. Despite the emotional invisible, Nobume was too late, as if he killed the assassin who killed Isaburo's wife, but has a strong sense of justice.

Story[]

The origin of Nobume is not well known, but she has been revealed that she is an orphan trained by Tinsuru Narak to become a professional assassin. At that time, her name was Mukuro. When Yoshida Showe was in prison during the Jui War, Mukuro was his security guard, and during this time, Shi told her about her knowledge and emotions about the characteristics she was lacking at the time. Later, she became known as one of Naraku's "three wings" because she was a genius.

Four years before the start of the series, Mukuro met Sasaki at a temple with other children trained in Narak. They were actually used to assassinate the Hitotsubashi family. Sasaki succeeded in preventing the assassination. This is an act that Oboro witnessed. As a result, his punishment for the betrayal was both his wife and a newborn child, and Sasaki himself. Sasaki arrived at the scene of death and found Mukuro standing on his wife's Palankin in the corpse's mountain. In fact, Mukuro was too late to save Sakaki's family, but killed a part of Narak's assassin behind the murder. He himself noticed this, but did not talk to her a few years later.

In the anger, he untrained her and easily hunted down. He turns her sword and asks why she doesn't fight back and why her tears. Mukuro says she is not suitable for killing him. Because she wanted to fight his weakness and vulnerable self. Mukuro was ready to accept her punishment, but Sasaki has lowered his sword and denied the desire to be killed. Later, he took the Mukuro, and then changed her given name from "Mukuro" to "Nobume". He, until his goal is unacceptable, he to kill him to kill his own family to kill him. Instructed him to claim his restoration ven.
