Hotaru is the Recurring Anti Antagonist from Mortal Kombat who makes His Debut in Mortal Kombat 6: the Deception (AKA MK Unchained). He also appears in Mortal Kombat 7: the Armageddon where He works for the Forces of Darkness.
He appears as a Cameo-Unit in Mortal Kombat 9: 2011 before Current Timelines. So Far Enough, this has been His Cameo Appearance in Mortal Kombat 11 and MMortal Kombat 11: the Aftermath for The Joker's Arcade Ending.
Believing and listening to Laws and Orders were the Two Primary Necessity, Hotaru is a Guardian from the Realm of Seido, Orderrealm, and was dedicated to maintaining Laws and Orders by any means Necessary. He is also a Best Friend Forever of Dairou.
He is a Seidan Warrior who affiliates and joins Oniro who is an All times Rival and Abusive Grandfather of Sub-Zero and is the Son of Raiden. Hōtaru is also an All times Rival and Anti Heroic Counterpart of Kenshi Takahashi who is the Widowed Father of Takeda Takahashi.
He is Now voiced by JB Blanc in Mortal Kombat Legends Adaptions and Formerly Paul St. Peter in MK6: the Deceptions/MK Unchained and MK7: the Armageddon.

Hotaru is a Straight Muscular Man with a White Hair styles Low Ponytail being showned up as a Small Red Rope and Blue Eyes. He wears a Seidan Armor with a Black Costumes and a Red Chinese Skirt, with the Tall Red Flags He was seen in Back. In Alternate Costume, He wears a Normal Casual Suit as of Black Jacket, Pants and Boots and Yellow Scales and Belt and Red Zipper and Button.
Personality[]
Hotaru can be described as a Law-Supportive Rival and a Very Lawful Person. He believed that the Laws and Orders are the Main Necessities to all natures, and this in Law and Order were Very Strong to the Point where He would severly punishes Anyone who were Rebellious to His Belief. He also devoted to the Service of Onaga.
He is Vengeful, Bloodthirsty, Hot-Headed and Wrathful as He always cares about arresting People for the GREAT Reasons cuz of His Extremists to the Races, there is no way He will stay away if He didn't takes down Kuai-Liang. His All times Rival and Heroic Counterpart was also Kenshi Takahashi who is the Single Father of Takeda Takahashi.
Synopsis[]
At some point in the past, Hōtaru ventured into Outworld and faces Shao Kahn's Tarkatan forces siege of the city of Lei Chen.
Many Years later, these same forces will be directed by the Dragon King, Onaga. Believing that this New Ressurection Ruler will brings orders to the Universe, Hotaru decides to helps Onaga's Tarkatan trice attack and hunt down who opposed them, such as Sub-Zero. During the fraudulent incident, Hotaru began His Search for the Lin Kuei Grandmaster and brings Him Justice before Onaga. He was never found, having returned to Earthrealm without being harmed by Hotaru.
Hōtaru did not know that he had a bounty placed on his head. In the past, when He was imprisoned, Dairou served as a Guard for Him, and now He has signed contract sent to Him by Darrius to steals the Constitution of Seido and murders Hotaru. How the operation ended is unknown.
Hotaru later joined the Forces of Darkness in the battle of Armageddon. He takes down Li Mei just before He died while trying to reach the Pyramid of Argus. It is unknown who kills Him after Shao was ressurected, taking down Onaga, Blaze and Raiden.
In Mortal Kombat 11, Hotaru appears as a cameo-character in Joker's ending being killed by Mileena who is ressurected and brought back to Her lifeless body due to Kronika laughing at the Timeline and Original Timelines's Shao goes to the Current Timeline.

- Even though Hotaru and the Realm of Seido prefer to a Neutral Order, due to their will of spreading order throughout the Realms Hotaru has chosen to unite the Forces of Darkness. This can be explained because All Characters from Darkness, with rare exceptions like Scorpion, seeks to controls all the realms in their own way.
- He has an Official Employee named Nitara and that was the Whole Reason why did He slaps Ashrah cuz of His Locations will gets exposed.
- He has Many of His Rivals due to the acts of His Lists.
- Kenshi Takahashi: He is His All times Rival due to the Muscular Size and Strength, He would have vows His Vengeance and impales His Headless Body away from His Sword and that's what He tells Liu Kang, Cole Young, Kung Jin and Takeda Takahashi the Whole Truth that He gets very angry Him.
