Hinata Sakaguchi is a supporting antagonist-turned-supporting protagonist of anime, manga and light novel series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
Another otherworlder from Japan. Shizue's first and most loyal disciple, leader of the Ten Saints, and supreme commander of the Holy Empire's army and the Western Saints' Church's crusade. Thanks to someone who portrayed Rimuru as the worst person, she begin to attacks Rimuru and seeks to kill him to destroy Tempest as revenge for Shizue's death. She refuses to talk to him and blatantly refuses to listen to his explanation of the incident.
Personality[]
Hinata is a ruthless pragmatist who does not hesitate to work with anyone if it is to the benefit of the entire human race. She is also willing to cooperate with the Demon Lord, despite the Western Saints Church believing that all monsters should be killed. She is willing to give advice to anyone who asks for it, but if that advice is ignored, she will not repeat it. She is also very stubborn, always refusing to compromise with others and not listening to reason unless ordered to do so by Luminous. She does not like to be teased, and when the four Saints mocked her delicate tongue, she angrily glared at them. Within the Church, she is a very strict but strong and capable leader, and within two years of coming to power, she singlehandedly reformed the Crusade into a much more efficient and rational version of herself. She also founded the Ten Great Saints, a fearsome group of knights who face the Ten Great Demon Lords in public. Hinata holds Shizu in high regard, as she trained her and was the first to teach her true kindness. Upon learning of Shizu's death from Yuuki, Hinata tried to kill Rimuru as he was involved and even threatened to destroy Rimuru City herself. However, her stubbornness and determination also mean that she is gullible as she was completely fooled by the double Rimuru created to defeat her. Despite being headstrong and stubborn, she is willing to admit and atone for her mistakes once she realizes them. In "Conflict between Saints and Demons", during her trip to Rimuru City, she realizes her mistake when she sees how friendly the Jura Tempest Federation is towards humans and decides to apologize and negotiate with Rimuru. Hinata's biggest dream is to create a world where humanity can live peacefully and happily in an equal society without conflicts and disputes. Therefore, she will do anything to make that dream come true.
