What I desire is power. The absolute power that comes with the Devil Gene!
~ Heihachi while killing Shin Kamiya.

Heihachi Mishima is one of the main antagonists and one of the main protagonists of the Tekken series. He debuted in the first game of the series and returned in all subsequent titles up to Tekken 8. Although he is considered the main protagonists of the Tekken 1, he is the main antagonist of the series and is mostly responsible for the catastrophes. He was a central character in the story of Tekken 5 and Tekken 6, but returns as the main protagonist in Tekken 7. Heihachi is the son of Jinpachi Mishima, the husband of Kazumi Mishima and the father of Kazuya Mishima & Lars Alexandersson. He is Lee Chaolan's adoptive father and Jin Kazama's paternal grandfather.

In Tekken 8, it is revealed that he had a daughter named Reina, and she hopes to follow in his footsteps and be replaced in the series.

He was NOW voiced by Taiten Kusonoki in Bloodline Adaptions.

Personalities[]

Heihachi is a Clever, Shrewed Businessman, who is Charismatic and Excellent at manipulating Others. He has a Sense of Humor that is often Sadistic, and Others sometimes finds its Hard to tells wether Heihachi is joking or being Deadly Serious. He once claimed that Kuma would inherits the Mishima Zaibatsu rather than Any of His Relatives, for Example, and, on finding a Young Stowaway, Xiaoyu on One of His Ships, was so Amused by Her Request that He builds Her a Theme Park, that He took Her on as a Ward of the Mishima Zaibatsu. His Sense of Humor can also be seen in Many of His Endings, and His Scenario Campaign Dialogues.

Heihachi has a Noticeably Cruel Streak, from throwing His Five-Year-Old Son off a Cliff, to ordering the Assassination of His Former Employees. He imprisons His Father for Years until He finally starves to Death, taked down His Lover (though in Self Defense), shot His Grandson, and frequently resorts to kidnapping, assassination and presumably intimidation. Both Kazuya and Lee Heihachi's Adopted Son bitterly resentd Him, suggesting He was also Cruel to Them in Their Childhood
