Harry Potter is the main protagonist in both books and cinematographic adaptations of Harry Potter.
In the movies, he's portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe.
Harry Potter is easily recognizable with his dark hair, his glasses and especially his lightning bolt scar inflicted by Lord Voldemort. During his screen appearances, he varies between mostly black school outfits with the Gryffindor badge and casual outfits often consisting of t-shirts, a jacket, and dark jeans.

He is originally the child of James and Lily Potter. They were tragically killed by Lord Voldemort who then wanted to kill Harry but failed (because the killing curse he casted rebounded and destroyed him after striking it to Lily Potter), leaving him only a scar on his forehead, thus becoming his nemesis. Subsequently, Harry was given to his Muggle, abusive uncle and aunt, Vernon and Petunia Dursley. Along with them, he is frequently abused and neglected and almost serves as their slave in their home. Everything changes when he receives a visit from Hagrid who urges him to leave the Dursleys to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
