Hajime Kashimo. known as God of Lightning, is an antagonist-turned-supporting character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He turned from a hostile to the magical battle series to a supporting role. He is a magician 400 years ago, and is now in the body of the person prepared by Kenjaku as a vessel, participating as a player of Kenjaku's selection game, and trying to find a fountain.
Appearance[]
400 years ago, Hajime was an old man with short zigzag lines under his light blue eyes. He had thick eyebrows and long cyan hair tied in a messy bun. Most of it was tied behind his head with a single band, reaching just above his neck. He also had part of his top hair parted and tied into two buns on the right and left side of his head. He wore a traditional dark-colored haori.
Reincarnated into a new body, Hajime plays an active role as a Culling Game Player in the "Selection Game" in a much younger form. He retains a lightning bolt-shaped line connected to the bottom of his eyelids, and his tousled hairstyle is almost the same except that he has bangs. Hajime wears simple white clothes, a large robe with a crinkled collar around his neck. The sleeve of his robe rolled up slightly, revealing Hajime's bandaged forearm. Hajime also wears pants and shoes of the same color.
Personality[]
Hajime is a perfect example of a past jujutsu sorcerer who lives to fight strong opponents. Hajime, who probably spent most of his life fighting mages, eventually became bored and dissatisfied with the battles he fought towards the end of his life. He has completely different values of life than modern people, and only agreed to Kenjaku's conditions in order to fight against his most powerful potential enemy, Sukuna.
The reincarnated magician quickly grew tired of the Culling Game, even after slaughtering over 40 players. His focus is solely on finding Sukuna, which eventually leads him to meet Panda and Kinji Hakari. Although he found the panda to be below average, he found Hakari to be very interesting due to the unique nature of his abilities, presenting a real challenge to Hajime. Rather than take the easy route of winning Hakari's jackpot, Hajime wanted to kill him before he could, in order to get the most satisfying victory possible. For Hajime, anything less than that is the mindset of a loser.
Even if the battle doesn't go well or his life is in danger, Hajime enjoys challenges. When Hakari tried to drop Hajime into the sea, he grinned and admitted it was a good idea, even though he knew it would put him at a disadvantage. Hajime respects Hakari because Hakari provides exciting fights, and he even admits that the fights were interesting, something his opponents in the culling game were not given. It's a compliment. As a result of the deadly fight, Hajime told Hakari to kill him after he lost. Despite this, they were able to have a friendly conversation, and Hajime agreed to fight alongside Hakari in exchange for challenging Sukuna. However, when Hajime found out that Hakari was a "Sukuna's senpai", he became quite irritated and confused.
