Hajime Hinata
Izuru Kamukura
Hajime Hinata is a major character in the Danganronpa series who serves as the main protagonist and hidden main protagonist villain of Danganronpa 2 Goodbye Despair and a minor character in Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. He is a student of Hope's Peak Academy and a participant of the Killing School Trip with the title of Ultimate ???. However it is eventually revealed that he was just a student of the reserve course and never had a talent. He eventually grew so fed up with not having a talent that he decided to take part in the Kamukura project where he became Izuru Kamukura an entirely new person named after the founder of Hope's Peak whose talent is talent itself who bears the title of Ultimate Hope. However when he is uploaded into the Neo World Program he takes the form of his Hajime Hinata persona. It is eventually revealed that Izuru is the mastermind of the Killing School Trip being the one responsible for uploading Alter Ego Junko into the Neo World Program.
He later returns in Danganronpa 3 The End of Hope's Peak High School as the tritagonist of Despair Arc, a minor character in Future Arc and one of the two main protagonists (alongside Makoto Naegi) in its epilogue Hope Arc.
