The Three Good Faires: Mistress Flora, Mistress Fauna & Mistress Merryweather are the main protagonists of Walt Disney's 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty. They are fairies whose magic brings good to King Stefan's kingdom and keeps Maleficent at bay however when she curses Princess Aurora out of spite for not being invited to her christening, it's up to them to protect Aurora from Maleficent's terrible curse and when their attempt failed, it’s up to them and Prince Phillip to save Aurora and the kingdom, including King Stefan, King Hubert, Queen Leah, Sir Minstrel and Lord Duke.

Flora, Fauna and Merryweather are the main protagonists because they're the characters that the films story follows from beginning to end, and whose actions and decisions have dealt the greatest amount of impact and influence over the events.
