Eathon Lambert is an overarching protagonist of the first season and second season of the 2009 animated TV series Huntik: Secrets & Seekers, he's a legendary Seeker and member of the Huntik Foundation. He is also the father of Cathy Lambert and Lok Lambert. He has been missing for ten years, but is still alive in the spirit world of Huntik. His diary was discovered by Lok and Sophie Casterwill. His signature Titan is Jirwolf, but what happened to him after that is unknown.

History[]

He worked at the Huntik Foundation at the Guggenheim, but disappeared under mysterious circumstances about 10 years ago. During his final year searching for the Amulet of Will, Simon Judeau, later known as the Professor, sent an escort to track down Eathon. The pursuit continued for several years across the world before ending in South America. Eathon didn't want his secret to be betrayed, so he directed his professor to the Nexus location. He pretended to be dead by jumping from a waterfall, managed to sneak into a secret cave behind the waterfall, and escaped to the spirit world called Huntik.

Before his disappearance, Eathon kept a diary filled with secrets from his Seeker career, which became an item that the Professor's organization was eager to acquire. When Lok and Sophie discovered it hidden among ancient relics, both the organization and the Huntik Foundation sought claims to its secrets. When it was damaged in a conflict between the Organization Suit and Lok, the only clue left as to his father's whereabouts was a mention of the Amulet of Will, an ancient relic.

For a long time, Roku was unsure whether his father Eathon had survived, as the Foundation's search mission for Eathon had uncovered both clues to and against his survival. One of the major clues was discovered in Atlantis, where a merman guard said that no one had passed through the city's gates in thousands of years. Because of this, Locke suspected that his father could not pass through or reach Atlantis. It was then suspected that he had somehow been turned into a professor's dog named Eathon, but the team later revealed that this was just a coincidence.

When the Professor finally confronted Lok and Dante Vale's team, he began telling the story of how his men had chased Eason, but he did not say whether Eason had managed to escape. This oversight may have simply been intended to stall Lok.

Some time after the Professor's defeat, Lok Lambert and the rest of the team use Eathon's holotome and Janucea, the gatekeeper to the South American Nexus, to discover that Eathon is still alive in the spirit world of Huntik. Eathon warns his son about the Blood Spiral Brotherhood, enemies of Casterwill Family, and has him track down the lost quatrain of Nostradamus.

Since this encounter, Eathon Lambert's holotome projections have begun to give clues during Lok's many missions. Several of these missions failed, and the Blood Spiral Clan claimed the Amulet of the Void and the Necklace of Tutankhamun.

When Lok found himself in the spirit world of Huntik, the holotome did not activate. Instead, Lok sees the image of his father in a mirror within this dimension, before being returned to his own plane of existence by Umbra.

The "Eathon" who was giving these clues was later revealed to be the traitorous Titan, the shape-shifting legendary Titan of Betrayer, Demigorgan. The Demi-Gorgan was turned into a holotome by Rassimov and placed in the professor's room in the castle. Lok was very troubled by this revelation, but eventually realized that the father figure he saw in the spirit world was indeed his own father.
