Dominic "Dom" James is LeBron's second son and the tritagonist for Space Jam: A New Legacy. He is a fictional version of Bryce James, the one who created his Goon Squad avatar in Al-G Rhythm.
History[]
It started with Dom playing basketball-based video games and dreaming of becoming a developer, but his father LeBron James wanted him to follow in his footsteps. One day, he and his father went to the Warner Bros. studio to see Al-G. When developing rhythm plans for the Warner 3000, his father rejected the idea, while Dom, with his background in technology, appreciated the idea. Later, during an argument, they find themselves in the basement and are transported to the server, Verse. Later, they meet Al-G's Rhythm and while Dom is distracted by Thurber's verse, he realizes that his father has disappeared just as Bron did not notice his father. Al-G then lied to him saying that Bron challenged him to a game of basketball, but before that, he and Al-G had a good time about video games, especially Al-G to recruits Dom rebuild his game after hearing about the "stupid glitch". `
After fixing that, he revealed that he used his iPhone to scan NBA players during charity work, but he also revealed that he was unaware that he would also be playing against his father and the Tune Squad. He decided to form a group, but Al-G encouraged him by saying, He needs to upgrade and prove himself wrong. But later he didn't tell him anything basic. Al-G then summons Dom's family and all of the viewers around the world who were hacked into the Serververse. At first, he thought they were all here to watch him as his fans, but if his team won, they would be permanently trapped in the serververse and means the Looney Tunes of his childhood will be removed. Immediately, he and the Goon Squad dominated half the time, seeing his team take on Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Tweety, Sylvester, Gossamer, Foghorn Leghorn, and Road Runner. After he and his team celebrated their first win, the Tune Squad returned. He thought it would be fun to see who wins and who loses, so he was excited to play against them again. However, after losing in the second half, Al-G scolded him, saying that his father was right. However, in the second half, his father quickly apologizes to him and even the song makes him feel sorry for his past, especially when Bron reveals the tragic truth of why he was overly disciplined in his childhood.
Dom then forgives him and he joins the Tune Squad after Granny gives him a uniform in case he changes teams. And this time he'll be playing with his dad. But later he realized that Al-G took control of the game and stole points from Lola. After Daffy Duck insults the Al-G as a "sneaky son of glitch," Dom makes a video of his concept, remembering his previous failures in the game and giving him ideas on how to defeat AI-G. But unfortunately, they are just errors, even though those who perform "glitch moves" are removed. His father decides to make a glitch move, claiming that he is not a real video game or fictional character and that for him real people can still survive. But Dom wasn't sure about that, Bugs decides to take his place. After that, Bugs sacrificing himself to glitch Al-G, the villain Dom's father nearly loses, but manages to jump one of the bouncing strikers and has a chance to win this game. He and his father then sadly witnessed the bug occur before it was removed. Then they return to the real world. After three weeks, the father finally let his son go to video game camp. However, he learns that Bugs Bunny is alive and decides to join them before they return to Tune World.
