Dextra, known as Droite in the Japanese and Italian versions, is a character appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. She was Mr. Heartland's right-hand man, in the same position as Nistro, and was also one of the committee members in charge of maintaining the World Duel Carnival. As it turns out, her and Nistro's real job in this tournament was to find the "Number" cards. However, she resigned to participate in the World Duel Carnival with her partner with the goal of protecting Kite Tenjo. She later joined Nistro on the Pro Duel circuit as a manager.

Appearance[]

Dextra has shoulder-length black hair with bright purple highlights and some fringe running through her light brown eyes. Her D-pad is shaped like a butterfly and resembles Trey and Quattro's D-pad. She also has a special blue Duelgazer tattoo, just like Kite Tenjo, Trey, Quattro, Quinton, and her partner Nistro. She is also a number hunter like Nistro.

As for her outfit, when she was a child, she wore a pink and purple striped jumper over a lilac vest, a dark red skirt and purple sneakers. Her jumper in particular was too big for her, so one of her shoulders was sticking out of her neck hole. In her World Duel Carnival, she wears a pink blouse with a purple undershirt, a white business suit, purple tights, black spiked high heels and an anklet that matches the one on Nistro's left wrist on her right leg.

After following Nistro and becoming a professional duelist, her attire was different. She wore a purple-pinkish skirt and top with a white undershirt, black tights and black heels. Her nightwear is a pink nightgown with a frilly collar. In Tori and Rio's imagination, what she would look like as Nistro's tag partner is wearing a red and blue wrestler costume that hugs her body, and she wears yellow gloves and a star-shaped mask.

Personality[]

In contrast to Nistro's exalted personality, Dextra is a very calm and serious person. Her cold, calculating demeanor is evident in her admonishment of Nistro's more casual and impulsive behavior. She has little tolerance for recklessness and handles things in a calm and professional manner. This personality of hers is also reflected in her dueling strategy, where her tactics are precise and calm. Additionally, she seems to only move when her opponent is weak, and she also represents careful consideration before making a move. This was also seen when she tracked Tombo Tillbitty's actions throughout the World Duel Carnival, and she only approached him after learning what he was doing.

Although she frequently criticizes Nistro, she shows concern for him, such as when Hart Tenjo releases his power within Nistro's range.

Despite her initially cold and indifferent personality, Dextra shows deep concern for Kaito when she learns that his repeated use of photon transformation is weakening Kaito, and her World Duel Carnival finals. He went so far as to urge them to give up the fight. It was shown that she fell in love with him once he saved her. In Spartan City, Dextra often smiles at others, making her more friendly and easy-going.
