Deathpierce is a supporting character-turned-supporting antagonist in The Seven Deadly Sins, and become the main antagonist of The Seven Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh movie.

Deathpierce is a grudged king of Edinburgh who is rebuilding his country after it was destroyed by vampires. Deathpierce was once a Holy Knight of Liones, and a member of the Pleiades of the Azure Sky who served Denzel Liones, assistant to the Great Holy Knight. After Denzel's death at Derieri's hands and the manipulation of the Pleiades at Ludociel's hands, he developed a grudge against both the devil and the goddess. After Meliodas and Elizabeth Liones were crowned as the new King and Queen of Liones, he refused to serve the kingdom and went into exile in his hometown of Edinburgh.

Appearance[]

Deathpierce, 35 years old, is a man with long silver hair and a mustache. He wears a yellow regal knight's costume with blue gauntlets.

At 50 years old as King of Edinburgh, Deathpierce's hair turned white and he seemed to grow thinner with age, growing a beard and long mustache. He wears bronze armor with one shoulder pad larger than the other, blue pants underneath the armor, and a white cloth wrapped around his waist.

When he was corrupted by his staff of Chaos, he turned into a giant humanoid muscular yellow monster with a long thin tail, a small head with a mustache of flesh, and a small mouth full of sharp teeth. On his back grew another large head, with no mouth, bulging orange eyes, and an oversized nose with wings around it. As if to symbolize Deathpierce's hatred, the living dolls of Derieri and Ludociel are chained to his chest.

Personality[]

Deathpierce is polite and calm compared to his friends, who first came to notice as he politely requested King Baltra to fight Meliodas in order to witness the strength of the Dragon's Wrath Sin.

However, after Derieri took Denzel's life, he began to harbor a deep anger towards the demon clan.

After Ludociel used the Breath of Breath to "endow" him with strength, his feelings towards the Goddess Clan quickly turned into fanaticism, and he tried to push the female citizens away beforehand in an attempt to explain the spell's effects. He went so far as to outdo Elizabeth.

After being freed from the brainwashing of the Breath of Breath, he abandoned the Pleiades of the Blue Sky and left the Kingdom of Liones. He had no intention of staying in Liones, where demons and goddesses ruled. His thinking was now close to prejudice against demons and goddesses, and he hoped to rebuild Edinburgh with humans alone.

After many years, this personal prejudice worsens and quickly escalates into general hatred of all other non-human races, even those generally perceived as allies of humans and going so far as to try to destroy them all.

As Deathpierce's mind drifts deeper into hatred and madness, he becomes cruel and vengeful. For example, he curses Elizabeth and tries to hurt Tristan just to make Meliodas suffer.
