Dean Delmona is one of the recurring characters in the Professor Layton prequel series, he is the dean of Gresenheller University and the employer of Layton and Emmy Altava.
Appearance[]
Delmona is a short man with fair skin, a round, dark brown nose, and a dirty blond mustache. His head is large and conical, with a tuft of brown hair at the tip of his head, but it turns out to be just a wig. He wears an orange suit with visible pockets and his three brown buttons, a green tie, and brown shoes, over a white dress shirt. He also wears round opaque glasses with black rims.
In Layton's Mystery Journey, Delmona's face has more wrinkles, his mustache is longer and whiter, he has grown a goatee, and his wig has even larger tufts of white hair. He wears a magenta suit with three black buttons over a white sweater and white shoes with navy blue soles.

Delmona appears and he has been spotted outside Gressenheller University.
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future[]
At Gressenheller University, he is seen while Layton and his students leave. He asked why Layton was here since he was on vacation. Later in the game, he is seen again. Layton and Luke meet him at Future London in the Hotel Duke. Near the mid-game, Delmona is revealed to be Don Paolo in disguise, due to having to spy on Layton while employed by Dimitri. Dean Delmona loves her granddaughter so much that she always gives her the best gifts.

Delmone appears briefly in episode 26, where she tells Katrielle Layton that Ernest Greeves is innocent. Granted permission to investigate Gressenheller's interior to prove that.
