Clarke Griffin is the main protagonist of the CW show The 100. She is one of hundred teenagers sent to Earth after a nuclear apocalypse. She is also the daughter of Abby and Jake Griffin and later, Madi's adoptive mother.
She is portrayed by Eliza Taylor.
History[]
In the dropship, she sits next to Wells, Chancellor Jaha's son whom she holds responsible for her father's death. She also meets Finn and Bellamy, an underground Ark guard. On Earth, she quickly finds that they have landed on the wrong mountain. With Finn, Bellamy's sister Octavia and the duo Jasper and Monty, Clarke goes to look for food at Mount Weather and Jasper is injured by a spear and taken away by the Grounders. Alongside Bellamy, she takes the leadership and begins by trying to establish peace with the Grounders but it fails. The two peoples declare war on each other and after this the Delinquents are kidnapped by the Mountain Men.
In Season 2, while her friends are comfortable at Mount Weather, Clarke is directly suspicious and looks for ways to escape. With Anya's help, she manages to escape and finds the Sky People who have come to the ground aboard the Ark. With them and the help of the Grounders, she hatches a plan to save her friends stranded at Mount Weather. With the help of the opponents in the bunker and Bellamy undercover, they prepare to attack. Clarke goes to Mount Weather and pressures Cage by killing his father the former president, Dante. She is forced to irradiate an entire level, killing Jasper's girlfriend, Maya who had helped them. Afterwards, Clarke decides to survive on her own, abandoning her people.
