Chiaia Flan

Chiaia Flan is one of the protagonists in Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar. She is Lashara's personal escort and bodyguard, and is responsible for protecting her life at all costs.

History[]

Chiaia also attends Holy Land Academy (where her sister were busy as a teacher) to complete her Seikishi training, and at the end of episode 2 she officially becomes a Seikishi. She is highly skilled in combat and can imitate Kenshi's unusual Sekijin fighting style after seeing it once. She is in love with her childhood friend Dagmeyer, which causes her to ignore clues about his plans to take control of the Holy Land until it is too late for her. She is frequently angry with both Kenshi and Lashara, and Chiaia's temper is one of the few things that Lashara is wary of. Her Seikijin is pink and red, has a fox-like tail, and is equipped with a long sword.

Although she is not happy about it, she agrees to go along with Lashara's plan to hide the fact that Kenshi is the Seikijin pilot who tried to kill her. However, early on, she showed small hints that she felt a slight attraction to Kenshi. The first instance of her having feelings for Kenshi is when she blushes in response to a compliment from him, and seems a little jealous of how close Wahanly is to Kenshi. She then makes new thread for his pendant. But unfortunately, She later learned that the red thread she used symbolized her love. However, her feelings for Kenshi are overshadowed by her crush on Dagmeyer and her annoyance at Kenshi's antics.

After the attack on the sacred place, she is asked by Dagmeyer to kill Kenshi. However, she could not go through with it and confessed to Lashara that her Kenshi had apologized to her while he was sleeping. She then tries to convince Dagmeyer to stop his act, but he flatly refuses. This caused Chiaia to see his true humanity and she lost her love for him. Later, when she tries to tell Kenshi about her assassination attempt, she sees the thread she made and she remembers what it symbolizes and she realizes that she has feelings for him. Her attitude towards him changed markedly, she became more friendly and considerate, and became more concerned about his safety and well-being. However, she still gets angry at him from time to time, mainly due to the fact that Kenshi keeps digging Swan for crystals.
