Chaozii Han is a supporting protagonist in the manga/anime series D.Gray-man. He's an exorcist and a member of the European Branch of the Black Order. Prior to joining the Order, he was worked for Anita, a Black Order sympathizer, along with her friends Maosa and Kie. After Anita's death, they also joined the Order as Finders and later joined the Tiedoll Unit.
Appearance[]
Chaozii has his height with black hair and eyes. His usually unkempt hair is almost always pulled back in a tight, pointed ponytail. He used to have freckles, but they seem to have disappeared recently.
Personality[]
Chaozii is an emotional person who is easily swayed by sadness and anger. Although he is usually affable and friendly, he cries easily, which gives away when he is lying. When angry, he becomes spiteful and ruthless, and holds a grudge against Allen Walker, even though they were good friends after Allen saved his life. Chaozii is ready to fight if he meets Allen, who is now an outcast.
He is also very loyal, as seen when he tells Lenalee Lee that she and the other exorcists can use his life as they please, and then lies to his comrades to die with them.
Chaozi is also a person with a very strong sense of justice, values justice, and deeply despises Noah and Akuma. He is also tenacious and dedicated to his duties as an exorcist, taking no breaks and spending a significant amount of time training.
